If Britney's upcoming performance on How I Met Your Mother seemed too good to be true, here is your first look at the pop star on the set. She's going to play a receptionist who catches Ted's eye during a visit to the doctor's office. (Fun fact: Sarah Chalke from Scrubs is also making a guest appearance in the episode.) Britney's big debut doesn't air until next week, but you all can get acquainted with the fabulous show tonight when How I Met Your Mother finally comes back from writers' strike hiatus!

He talked all about how it came together and how they were so suprised she wanted to be on their show, etc. So yea, go ahead & bash Brit all you want, but the people over at HIMYM are not "cashing in on her trainwreck status to boost numbers". They're just riding the wave, man...
30She is super airbrushed, but I doubt she's pregnant. Most psychiatric meds aren't safe for pregnant women, so her doctor would have made sure she is using some form of birth control, probably even the pill since hormone regulation can help with some mood problems.

as for the sarah chalke role - i'm glad that she's in the episode instead of alicia silverstone. it just seems to me like there was a diva complex for why she pulled out and we all love sarah anyway!
