Ashlee Simpson looked like a slightly darker version of Hilary Duff grabbing lunch at Cafe Med in LA yesterday. She left Pete behind after their bikini time vacation in Jamaica last week, but she looks happy to be home and blogged all about it. She wrote, " Aaaah. I am back in LA after a long, but really fun promo tour. I loved meeting everyone out on the road, but it is so good to be back in my house (even though every light in the place was burned out-and you don't figure those things out until it is dark). I am doing international press today and they always ask the funniest questions. Ashlee xx" I'm sure it's only a brief rest for Ash before Bittersweet World comes out April 22, but hopefully she'll find some time for lightbulb shopping before she's off again.

7Yeah, she's lost a bit of weight. What I dislike about Ashlee is that she thinks she's Madonna by changing her look with every album. First, she was this faux punk rocker type. Then, she transitioned into the sweet blond, but still rock type of girl and know she's "I'm so cool, I'm dating a rocker"...
Even though her sis is a dumb airhead, she stays real to herself.

20I love you Ashlee, but PLEASE go back to yourself. When she was in 7th heaven, she was a little cutie. I liked her then! I don't like her music, but I do think she did a great job in that role. I have a soft spot in my heart for her just because that was one of my favorite shows, just call me a sap.

38I like her because her style is girly (shoes, chanel pearls) yet punkish. Its pretty cool how she has that hybrid nailed, IMO. She also doesnt look like she is trying too hard, yet she is pulled together. I dont know, there is something about her and her style that I like.
