Britney Spears, wearing her current favorite Primp top, was enjoying some down time at home yesterday. Her bad smoking habit may still exist but for the most part things are improving in Britneyland. Jamie Spears has helped tremendously and the latest spring cleaning assignment for him is to sell some of Britney's seven cars. More importantly, we can't forget about her big debut on How I Met Your Mother, which we're all so excited to see. After seeing Buzz's even longer clip of Brit we're counting down the days until Monday.

I love How I Met Your Mother, and I'm pulling for Britney's return to greatness, so I'm mad excited for the show! =) I'm def. gonna watch. But I don't see why they have to sell her cars. Insurance and maintenance of one car alone is definitely expensive, but she does have the money, and she'll continue to have money coming in from album sales(however lackluster they may be) and her perfume line. And I'm sure that Britney's accountant made certain investments for her even though they're not being mentioned. And when Brit gets better, she'll just buy more cars, so so what? haha
1Why always post the stalker pics from X17, they are very disturbing. Do you guys think you could avoid those sort of shots in the future. If not for yourself and your company, do it for Brit.
2Agreed Catherine1, but changing tack. I'm so glad Brit's is finally getting better. She's like that adorable friend or cousin that you'd occasionally like to slap but you just want the best for. I so hope she gets her life back together and gets access to her kids.

12i think that everyone should e happy if smoking is the worst thing that she's doing right now. as for the 7 cars - WOW - i can't believe she has that many (then again maybe i can) but we only usually saw her in 2 or 3.
i hope that things continue to get better for her.

15I do kinda feel for Brit a bit, I'm not so sure about selling her cars, they are hers. Jay Leno has like over 50 cars and no one ic complaining. She might just luv cars, coming from a car enthusiast myself, 7 is really not a bad number for someone with money. I feel like the car thing should kinda be her decision.

Maybe her dad's selling the cars because BritBrit bought them on a crazy impulse and she never drives them. Jay Leno is collects cars and motorcycles - he didn't go batsh*t crazy and buy a bunch of cars.
18According to reports the judge granted Brits father permission to sell the cars (2 Benz's, 1 mini cooper, 1 Audi) to help her out financially and that should help her pay her legal debt. I think it was mentioned that her personal legal debt was around 630K.
19I am very excited about Monday and must admit that I have never seen the show but I will be tuning in. She is looking so much better and I hope she keeps heading in this direction
I am not sure why the conservators are going to sell her cars but I think it might be that she was spending so much money a month and honestly 7 cars is a lot for 1 person... so I think they are just trying to clean up her finances.

They're selling her cars cuz the girl's lifestyle was hemorrhaging money. She's not as well off as people want to think. At least her dad is stepping in.
23I don't think it was the spotlight she couldn't handle since she'd been in it for years. I think she was unstable to begin with and marrying KFed, having 2 babies back to back and then the breakup of said marriage put her over the edge.

25Uh huh, cuz fame never hurt anybody let alone someone who is unstable to begin with. Just because she appeared to handle it well doesn't mean she wasn't cracking underneath it all. Which, now we see that behind it all, she wasn't handling it well even before KFed and the babies.

27I feel like the way certain people talk about Britney its like she attacked them or something. It's just weird to me- I mean, we all don't know the specifics of her life, nor do we know them now even though her life is under a microscope. I just think we all should step back and just chill on the bad energy and start spreading encouragement and good wishes, you know? If you don't like her, fine. If you do, good. But I don't get the point of these off-base semi-biographical posts about what is and was going on in her head or with her family. We don't know.

30Brian - because there are bigger issues that are always at play with public figures and some people like to discuss them. Britney is a public figure. I would like to discuss why some people in the general public support someone that I do not. What is wrong with that? What's the point of gossip sites if you know, people don't gossip?

32I think her Dad is selling her cars because well face it, she's not Jay Leno. It's not like she's buying "classic" cars for show or anything, and she has no need for that many! I could understand 3 cars. 1, a cute little sports car. 2, an SUV for carting the Boys around (Yes, she WILL get them back LOL) and 3, a pickup for all the things you would need a pickup for LOL
I'm hoping that in a couple of years once this "mess" is behind her she'll sit down and REALLY tell her story. I'd love to hear it in her words, rather than HER story in the TABLOIDS words, ya know? I just get this feeling that there is so much more going on there than we know.

38I completely agree. Most mothers (as I know you would) would give up everything in the world for their babies, I just don't get why the giving up on her kids isn't more of a point.
