Kate and Owen have something else in common — they found someone to ride on their bikes with them this weekend. Owen was spotted in Miami giving a friend a not as safe ride as the one Kate and Ryder went on but it looks like he is trying to be extra careful. Owen's personal life may be going well with his reunited Kate Hudson relationship but unfortunately his latest movie didn't do well at the box office this weekend only earning $10 million. It's hard to beat animated family comedies like Horton but between poor reviews and lack of promotions, they couldn't have expected much. Owen may be ready to get back to work but perhaps he's not quite prepared for sitting in the hot seat for interviews. Can't blame him, but we welcome the day the funny guy gets back out there.

7that's such an owen thing to be doing - with the bike and all that. oh well..i think that he's still endearing. it's a shame that his movie didn't do too well but to be honest, i had no desire to go and see it either.

17blob - the budget on Drillbit is reported as 30 million production only, not to count distribution and marketing and all the others add ons, and yes it's a flop. Everyone was quick to call Katie Holmes movie a flop, Eva's a flop, but Owen's just didn't do well. Give me a break. And if it were Britney - world headlines.
18People.com claims that they were together on this bike ride. (They stopped at Starbucks, went shopping, got married ... sorry, I made that last one up!) Anyway, I think they might be embellishing that story. The pictures don't make it seem like they were on the same bike ride. I don't like Kate and Owen together and the timing of her visit and their "rekindled" romance seems weird (publicity?), but hopefully she's keeping his spirits up after that lousy opening weekend for his new film ...
19Ahhh, cute pics. Although, as a cyclist, it does bother me when I see celebs without helmets. Sets a bad example. I did take my kids to see Drillbit Taylor a few days ago, and they really liked it and thought it was really funny. Sometimes I'm just miserable trying to get through kid movies with my children (Pokeman was the worst kid movie of all time--I still suffer the emotional scars from sitting through it, LOL), but not in this case. I really don't think some adults should be reviewing kid movies--it makes no sense since adults aren't the audience they are targeting.
