Clown reminiscent make-up aside, Courtney Love seems to want to get her act together, but somehow her past keeps catching up with her. An upcoming biography of Nirvana details the crazy drama of the day that her daughter, Francis Bean, was born. It's disturbing, to say the least. Page Six reports:
In "Nirvana - The Biography," author Everett True describes how Cobain and Love both ended up at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. within days of each other in August 1992 - the grunge rocker checking in for a 60-day heroin detox stint and Love, a few days later, for complications arising from her pregnancy.
Two weeks into his stay, Love found herself about to go into labor. According to True: "Courtney - never one to miss an opportunity for drama - grabbed her intravenous drip stand at 4 in the morning, and wheeled it down the corridors to where Kurt was staying. 'You get out of out of this bed and come down now!' she screamed. 'You are not leaving me to do this by myself, [bleep] you!'
"Her husband followed her to the delivery room - weakened from his treatment, and hooked up to an IV stand himself - and passed out just moments before Frances was born." Then things got even weirder when, as Courtney related to True, "I'm having the baby, it's coming out, [Kurt's] puking, he's passing out and I'm holding his hand and rubbing his stomach while the baby's coming out."
Dear lord, how has Francis Bean ended up as grounded as she seems? Honestly, I would understand any level of instability from her, but she seems to be a relatively normal teenager. Well, we suppose someone's got to keep Courtney in check.

and then her mother paid someone to kill her father since he was going to divorce her and due to the prenup she would have got NOTHING! Then uses his death as a platform for her own career while lording over her share of his music over the other members of Nivana's heads until they wished they could kill her and get away with it.
Sometimes I think everyone would have been better off if Courtney had "overdosed and blown her brains out with so much heroin in her system she wouldn't have been able to life the shotgun" instead of Kurt......but that just my opinion.
1I dont know how Francis Bean does it. First with that horrible name. Then having Courtney Love as her mom. She never had a chance but she is so ridicously grounded. I watched the Courtney Love thing recently on VH1 and she seemed like she was doing sooo well. I dont know if these are old photos but she looks like crap
2oooo Ima you just reminded me of my 7th grade boyfriend and his friend. They were die hard Cobain fans and totally believed that Love had something to do with his death. They would show me books and point out all the evidence. I will always think his death is suspicious
3I sometimes wonder how much of stuff like this is true when Love says it. Yeah I know crazy stuff like this went down but Love definitely says things to make herself look better
4lots of stable kids come from exciting and different families. i think it teaches a kid how to deal with circumstances out of his or her control.
that being said, i'm still not convinced that love should have custody of her kid. isn't she always on drugs?

One of my friends had a biography on him and in it was a picture of the suicide note. He wrote the entire note out but then there was a P.S to it in writing that was different than his original and I think it even said something about Love in it too (idk its been awhile). Now that is not grounds to say that Love did it but I remember thinking it was suspicous

43That whole birth situation reminds me of the birth scene in Blow, with Johnny Depp all geeked out on cocaine and shaking and collapsed during the peak of it all (he had a cocaine induced heart attack though). That was a scary/sad scene.
