George Clooney was joined by Renée Zellweger in Duluth, Minnesota for a news conference yesterday, then headed home to Maysville, Kentucky for a unique premiere of Leatherheads. The actor's father and aunt were born there and in fact, Aunt Rosemary Clooney also premiered her film The Stars Are Singing in 1953 in the small town. George brought his old Hollywood style along with him. He wanted a small town premiere to also go along with the theme of the film since apparently George said, "the NFL got its start in small towns." It's a nice change from the big LA lights, camera and action that a normal red carpet premiere entails, but hopefully this isn't the last we'll see of the big stars promoting their work.

i can't wait to see the movie.
1Cool.
2That's them in Duluth, MN!
That's my town.
Wild.
I didn't go there, but there were lots of screaming children/girls/random people there with their signs and camera phones freaking out.
When they got off the train there were only about two camera flashes, which was hilarious.
It was funny to see on the local news last night.
3thats good
4I dont like Him or Her, and I dont like movies about sports either so this one's a big no brainer for me!
I'll definately skip it.
Oh yeah and I dont like that other guy who's in the movie, too, what's his name?
That guy from the office or smtg?
5aww how adorable was that? i'm glad that now that he's such a big star that he is able to take things to other places aside from LA and NYC
6I guess they came to Minnesota for the premiere too. I had no idea the movie is about Minnesota some how lol.
7Kentucky loves Clooney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8Renee's outfit is gorgeous!
9George rocks but I'm not a big fan of Renee. I can't wait to see Leatherheads.
10gonna watch this movie!
11Can Renee Zellweger's face look anymore like tire tread marks...EWWW!!!
12WOW this is really cool. i can't wait for this movie i want to see it!
13I am not loving that hat at all. It is too big for his head. That's good he's taking the movie to small town America. I pretty sure his fans out there were happy to see him.
14Ooh, Smutty, I love the hat! I also love the black eye on the posters-nothing like hot and silly.
15Thats a cool idea, but I still don't like him. Too arrogant.
16i agree with you stephley he's so hot in the 20s style.
17I think that was a great idea. He grew up in Cincinnati which is on the border of Kentucky. I 'm a big fan of George and can't wait to see the movie. It looks cute.
18very cool idea. i could do without renee though. yuck
19Aww, George. How nice to take the premiere to these towns. The two of them look like they have a lot of fun together. Looking forward to seeing this as well!
20he looks so young, full of vitality and youth! I LOVE HIM!
21George Clooney is NOT arrogant. He has a wonderful self-deprecating sense of humour and doesn't take himself too serious. HE'S A GOD
22Lovin' the 20's get-ups. BTW, the LA premiere is this coming Monday:
