The little girl dress on an adult, the boots, the cigarette. All too trashy for me. She needs help on how to dress right.

i thought she was really cute and added a fun touch to the episode. i almost forgot it was britney spears because she showed a different side that what we have been seeing all year long. so i say that it was great and hopefully she'll continue doing well!

This poll is missing the didn't watch and don't care categories for sure. I still hold my perfect record for having never watched an episode of this show.

But I did see her advance clip and wasn't impressed. No doubt the whole episode will be on the internet before dawn.

I thought I had firmly cemented my feet in the 'don't care' position when it came to Britney.. never was a fan of hers and just too much drama with her. But I watched it, thought she was pretty good (I mean, how great are musicians ever when they are on shows? but she was good), looked cute, and gave a fun touch to it. Don't see anything wrong with applauding a step in the right direction when most of the time we're all busy kicking her when she's down.

I though she was pretty good. I agree with tagen22 about giving her some positive talk when she does something good. Everyone is always jumping on the bandwagon to knock the girl down. Let's cheer her on for going in the right direction. I thought she was good. (so much better than Miss Jessica Simpson on anything she has acted in) EEK!

She was great,I just wish I had seen her in more parts of the show.Britney need ppl to guide her to the right road is all and I think she is on it.I love Brit as of the day the poor girl was hospitalized..I think Sam needs to go to prison..Just my 2 cents

That episode hasn't aired yet in Australia, so I have no idea what I think about her performance on the show. But if Britney brings the show good ratings so that it's renewed, then I'm all for it.

i haven't watched it yet, but it's tivo'd. And I agree with pink_magnetism. If it brings good ratings and helps the show get renewed, I'm allllllllllllllll for it! I don't want this show to go away!

She was cute and funny without trying too hard. You have too admit her character was a stretch being that the real Britney is so demanding and always the center of attention while the part was small and made her look desperate and not needed. She did a good job but it was not a huge deal.

Didn't watch it, I never watch movies or shows just because someone special's in it. But I saw the 1000 previews, so I practically saw the episode. Well, that said, MUST HAVE THAT DRESS! I'm so ashamed to admit that but I love it, it's the very first thing she wears that I like, breaking!

She was HORRIBLE! I can't believe how many people voted "love it"! Her acting was terrible. The role was great, but she wasn't; I'm glad the role was small. Fortunately, Sarah Chalke was amazing in the episode.

I actually thought she wasn't half bad. I mean she wasn't the main part. she wasn't terrible. She's not showing her cooch or her bad weave. Can't you guys just let her be until she actually does something bad? I enjoyd this one. She was quirky and funny. I think it was somewhat her personality that she use to show back in the teem days. I don't know about lovin it. But I certainly liked it. I'm not the biggest fan of hers. But she is doing something that's worthwhile as opposed to walking around shopping and showing off her 8,000 pairs of leggins (i actually do like Lohan too, but she's useless)

uh ginger, cbs puts their episodes online, so yes it is online right now. and it was supposed to be cheesy guys. she was the crazy stalker receptionist. it don't think she is a great actress, but she played the part well, and this show is freakin hilarious! i LOVE this show, my bf is even starting to like it.

it's crazy, all the stories that you read on the internet, in magazines, you would think she couldn't string a sentence together. while her acting was a bit wooden i was amazed to find her lucid enough to deliver her lines, i think there's a method to her madness hidden somewhere.

also: britney aside the show was hilarious, the moustache prank had me in stitches!

I didn't watch, but I heard she did pretty good! I try to keep a good grip on reality talking about stars and gossip, but I really genuinely want to see Britney get back on her feet. I hope her Daddy is making her feel safe and secure and that she gets her life straightened out.

i think she did great. she's never been meryl streep but for this role on himym it was perfect. i agree that we shouldn't be so negative about her...there are so many people out there who are spreading such hate and venom about her. that takes more energy than being positive and i think this role is a moving in a positive direction for her.

Where is the who gives a sh*t about her career any longer option? The only thing that I care about is that she gets healthy and becomes a deserving mother for her children's sake.

tagen22 i agree! i voted love it- and while maybe i didn't quite love it- i definitely didn't hate it- she did a decent job and it was nice to see her acting semi normal.

Britney did a superb job last night. I couldn't be prouder of her. I am sooo happy Brit is getting her life in order. She will be back to the old Britney, the one who was a good entertainer and mommy, before we know it. Thats Brit proving all those septics wrong.

I didnt watch it...but I did watch the short clips that were floating around...and it was like fingernails on a chalkboard...just painful.

I have never been a Britney fan, until she started to have her little (big) meltdown and I couldn't help but feel for her and I've been rooting for her ever since. So I definitely watched last night and I thought she was really funny and not at all over the top. My husband watched also (he's a fan of the show but dislikes Britney) and he thought she was really good and very funny too. I was in shock that he would have even say that out loud.

I thought Brit was okay but I was more excited for the cute yellow dress she wore in the last scene.

I was so waiting for this post last nite. I watched the last 15 minutes or so. I thought she was adorable!

The only thing I would've changed is I would've given her a bigger part and that other girl a smaller part. That other girl is ugly.

Anyways, I dont even watch the show but I watched it just to see Brit.

That episode was funny and she did not seem psycho, kind of charming even.

OK I watched it now online. My verdict: The whole show was bad, there were some quite talented actors who deserve a good platform, but the show seemed just plain and simple bad. Therefore it amazed me that Britney managed to look like a terrible, exaggerated actress and underbid the show. I could see how she struggled, maybe she was nervous, I don't know, but it was a very weak performance. I believe everyone here could have achieved this and would have looked better while doing it. And that's my point, to me, she's a train wreck and that's what makes her news worth, I know that she can't sing, can't act, can't be a good mother, etc. that's the fascinating thing about her to me, she's the biggest mess I know. No one here would mention her if there were no head shaving or breakdown stories. But then again, that's Hollywood, it's not about talent, it's about amusement.

I thought she was pretty decent. Even my husband said, "hmmm, she is not half bad, that was kinda funny." It shows a lot that she wouldn't try to steal the show. It was understated and a success.

I did watch it and I didn't hate her on it. I thought it was a cute little gig for her to do and the episode itself was really fun.

how was she fabulous? because its her "acting" "normal"? it was the worst HIMYM ever! Cheese fest, It was as if they were dumbing it down because britney was there! And i agree with TVSQUAD.COM, because brit was there and alicia opted out, it has hurt the story arc for the future.

Did you not hear about her refusing to take her gigantic insect sunglasses off during rehearsal, and the other actors were weirded out by that, and they actually had to ask her if she planned on wearing them when they shot for real? that, is classic behavior of a nut job.

i've never actually seen the show before but i watched last night and i thought that it was funny - and britney was great. the last scenes were soo classicly funny. she did a fantastic job as a crazy receptionist.

I'm not a fan nor have I ever been of Britney's but she did good last night. No, she's not a good actress but she looked GREAT (thanks wardrobe, make-up peeps and hair guys for making her look normal). I had never watched the show before so I watched it mainly so I could talk about it today (yeah, I'm that superficial). I was really impressed with how great she looked. There was a spark of the old Britney there! I really really believe the cloths helped a lot. Sure they were a little boring (to put it nice) but my main thing every time I see her is the distraction of whatever God awful outfit she is wearing. But still, GREAT JOB BRIT!!

So, you know which way I leaned on this poll- I do think she did a good job. I laughed out loud at her lines a couple of times. I had never seen the show before and honestly was only liking NPH on there, everyone else seemed dorky... but maybe they are supposed to be?? Anyway- she was funny and she does have good comedic timing... Lucille Ball said that comedy acting is much harder than dramatic. It's weird how I have never heard about the sunglass fiasco caterpillar... I heard she wore them through the table read, but other than that... not a mention of them or a bad attitude from the cast or her. oh well, I am glad it went well
