Hi Ladies,
I changed the title from "All sewers, please advise!", because a few of you Eye-wink not naming names, thought I was talking about street sewers!

Some of you know that I've been wanting to learn how to sew this year. I went to a local Sewing Center, only to be overwhelmed by my options for purchasing a sewing machine. The two brands that I seem to lean towards are Singer (7462) and Janome (DC3050). I'm not limited to these two, so if you have suggestions, I'd REALLY appreciate it.

I need your expertise in which machine I should look into.

Here are a few facts to consider:
I want a machine I can grow with. Something multi-useful.

I'm planning on learning how to create home decor pieces, and eventually get into clothing.

I've never touched a sewing machine in my life, but I'm planning on taking classes.

I'm hoping to buy one this, or next week so I can start my classes. Thanks Eye-wink
