We welcome the pics of the non-drunk, covered up Tara Reid at Sundance. It's much better than seeing Tara's ass in her bikini. However, Tara loves to wear her fur. So what do you really think... is it okay to keep warm in the winter with fur?
Pinkgirl, I hope you don't have any pets--because yeah, then you are a hypocrite! (Unless you're generally in the habit of wearing the pelts of your friends as wraps...)
I think fur is generally bad becauseof the animals used. Meat and leather are from cows and pigs where the entire animal is used. Fur coats are usually made from minks, racoon, dog, etc. and
the animal is killed and skinned specifically for that reason. Sometimes it will take 30 or 40 animals to make one coat and there you have a pile of skinned animals laying there that lived
their entire lives in cages. Not a pretty thought.
Ick! Fur screams "I think I am so much better than any other living creature (i.e. I have a superiority complex because)", which makes the statement false. At least it's a good indicator -
like a big fat red arrow pointing at them.
I'm definitely not a fur fan and it's about the most ridiculous thing I can imagine wearing in a ski town, even at a Hollywood even like a film festival. I'm sticking to my North Face gear.
Completely against fur, it's not 'FAB' at all I.M.O, it's cruel and I fail to see the 'fabness' of cruelty. But to each his own I guess. Some (-most actually-)people seem to wear it to impress
others, to show they have enough money to be able to afford what most can't.....I've NEVER been impressed.I find it utterly silly.
***I'm old enough to know better, but too young to care !***
ew i DO NOT get hollywood! do they think that looks good!? EW!!! fake tan! fake teeth! fake hair! fake boobs! why did she decide to wear real fur??? class it up a bit? haha SICK she looks
like a caricature. how many furry critters had to die to make her look that cheap? all of her accessories are animal products. good one tara.
I think that with so many other options out there these days that fur no longer needs to be a first line choice for people to stay warm and in fashion. I accept Inuit tribes and other native
peoples around the world using fur (and hides and bones etc) for warmth and protection from the elements, but I don't think that in developed countries where animals are bred for fur only
that we need to still be using it. When an animal looses it's life literally for ONE persons gain it's a sad day. You aren't using it because you need to to survive or for sustenance when you
buy a $pendy fur coat. You are using it because you want people to notice you. They can notice you in something synthetic.
Let me see if I understand this... those of you who are so anti fur... you must be pro-life as well, right? Because I can't imagine you thinking it's OK to kill a baby but not an animal.
For the record, I'm anti fur and yes, hate me if you must, but I'm pro-life as well.
It's F*cking Fugly that is what it is....I can not believe people think she is looking great these days....what a mess...if she wants a lesson in how to look classy take a leaf out of ScarJo
book
I'm antifur because of the inhumane way the animals are killed, not simply because they are killed, inhumane treatment of animals and abortion are two completely different things, but that's
just my opinion.
Lol. Bringing abortion into the debate is silly. Remember now, not everyone thinks a fetus is a person unto itself. Seperate issues. Now, as for fur, well it's clear the animals are living,
breathing creatures and are skinned alive (among other horrid ways) just to make an accessory for some selfish human to wear and flaunt and show off how many tiny animals they can have sewn
together for themselves. The cruelty of the fur trade is outrageous and I have no respect for anyone who wears or buys them. I agree with dreamsugar, kiddy, zachsgirl and eurogirl.
daisie
Plants are also living breathing organizms that respond to touch and sound, and have been shown to be able to sense pain, and are ripped from their homes, denied nutrients and suffer a slow
death, all for the selfishness of human consumption.
Okay, I love animals, believe in saving them from running loose and getting killed, BUT, and emphasis with the capitilization. Animals are a part of our lives. I doubt that all the vegans out
there were born vegans, wearing faux, or knowing the difference.
Fur is a part of life. Now, I am not saying you go and kill an animal for the sake of a hat, but animals all have a purpose, some are to be preserved since their beauty is their purpose
(tigers, elephants, et al) but minks, racoons, sheep, there are plenty of them for a reason.
I think fur it inexcusably cruel and disgusting and Tara lookslike she robbed Star Jones' closet. Of COURSE most vegans arn't born shunning animal products and fur, it's a choice made through
education. One you've seen video of a fox or furry chinchilla anally electrocuted or clubbed till it is too weak to resist having it's skin and fur ripped off to make someone a coat...it kind
of turns you off the whole fur clothing thing.
I don't agree with comparing the fur debate with abortion rights. I am against raising and killing an animal solely for fashion's sake. I am Pro-Choice when it comes to abortion because I do
not believe the government should have the right to tell me what to do with my own body. These two issues do not seem to be related at all.
I think wearing fur is just wrong! The torture that those poor animals have to go through for you to look cool or pretty is just plain cruel!! How can one compare abortion to the fur trade!?
The animal is skinned alive and then thrown to the side to suffer and die! The animal has already been born and can feel pain! I think it is just wrong and disgusting!!!
I don't care! I won't go psycho on people that wear it and I agree with some opinions in here...I eat COW, CHICKEN, PIG and wear leather...it would be highly hipocritical (sp?) to say that
fur is crime if we don't stop doing other things that kill animals...

Cat Deeley looked casual and cute outside the BBC Radio One studios in London. She wore Hudson black skinny jeans and kept warm with a feminine white pom pom scarf and soft green leather jacket (similar in color to this one by Tory Burch), adding a Pauric Sweeney python bag and tough combat boots to give the look more of an edge.
Oh, for the love.............
1YES, it's fine to wear fur. When abortion is banned, fur can be banned.
I was uhm 4 or 5 when I got my first fur, I love it.
2Oh, POP, now I know you just LOVE starting this debate!!
You antagonizer!
3Not a fan of the outfit. At least, she's covering up now.
4strong statement rcldesigngirl - i agree
5RCLdesign...very well put. I don't love her outfit but its not the fur I'm hating
Preppy to the max!
6I eat meet and wear leather... so it feel like i would be a hypocrite to have a problem with it. i do wear and own some fur.
7TINA!
fur is great as long as it's FAKE!!
8Those crispy ringlets are more of a crime than the fur.
9I LOVE fur...I'm trying to convince my husband to invest in a nice coat for me! (I agree with Pinkgirl.)
10I actally love her outfit and I think she looks good in it. Not a big Tara fan but I do love the clothes
11I agree with dreamsugar. That said I think this is a great improvement!
12No, I don't wear fur and don't plan on starting anytime soon. I don't agree with wearing it and I really don't like the way fur looks.
13Don't we talk about this every week?
14RCLdesigngirl, what do you mean by "When abortion is banned, fur can be banned."? No aggressivity, I'm just not sure I understand what you mean.
15Yes I am with dreamsugar too!
fashionista loves Vale...
16Pinkgirl, I hope you don't have any pets--because yeah, then you are a hypocrite! (Unless you're generally in the habit of wearing the pelts of your friends as wraps...)
17I just don't understand how people can wear something that little animals are beaten and killed for just so they can look fashionable and cool.

20she should NOT wear that white mohair hat with that orange tan... don't like fur that much~ nor snakeskin or other reptilian accessories.
21How can you tell if it's real fur or fake fur from the picture?
22I'm definitely not a fur fan and it's about the most ridiculous thing I can imagine wearing in a ski town, even at a Hollywood even like a film festival. I'm sticking to my North Face gear.
23I'm not even going to go there.

27Compassion is cool, stylish, sexy! Fur isn't.
Tara has always looked like a misled fashion victim so it's no surprise that she's wearing a true victim of fashion. Gross and shameful.
I agree with EuroGirl- there's nothing FAB about it.
28Wow, she looks orange!

37Oh, and if I were you, Daisie, I wouldn't speak down to me in a ridiculously condescending manner. It's rude.
38Way to go, Daisie.
