i hated that movie. it had more plot holes in it than a seive....uh, more holes than a streaking cap? im not sure where im going with this.

it left too much unanswered. and the electronic thing was incinsistent. and i wanted to kick his son in the ass.

Oh, Prinsess why didn’t you liked it? I watched it 2 times. There were too many holes, i agree, but what i like about it – from the first trailer – it gave me that felling – that the world is ending. Specially when you sit in the dark theater. Like it could happen any time (alien attack & end of our pretty civilized world). When i came out of theater – there were bad weather. You know like dark clouds and stuff. I looked up in the sky and thought – he-e-re they come... I liked it the most – that this movie gave me that feeling.

I watched recently on tv again Minority report. And now... when i see Tom’s movie... i’m always thinking: God, what happen to you Tom? How did you became like this? Despite all i always liked him, all of his movies. First Mission is the best ever, Collateral – best villain ever, Minority report – one of my favorites movies, Samurai – boring, War of worlds – one of favorites, even
3-d Mission was cool despite of all the crazy press campaign.

My point is – how, why, where did he lost his mind? I remember Last Samurai promotion where he was with Penelope. He was so serious, without that crazy look that he has now. No one would never thought he will end up like this. What that f**king cult has done with him? That Oprah thing had kill me. I was sitting & smiling along with him. Like a comedy show. Poor Oprah... she didn’t know what to do. Just was sitting & keep saying: the man has lost it, the man has lost it. He was soo... on drugs. Not drunk... on drugs. People on drugs do that – keeping smiling without a reason. And his creepy, maniac smile. Many people hate him mostly because of that. Tom, come back... And John Travolta is in cult, and some other celebrities – but they don’t behave like brainwashed people.

PrincessPixie I totally agree....the movie left me not only bored but disillusioned, confused, disorientated....and frankly bored. The icing on the cake for me is when the son beats him home at the end....there is no way he could have survived. They basically did not know how to end the movie or ran out of money either way it was a crap ending to a ok film. Would not rent, buy or watch it on TV....that movie is dead to me.

i really like him still. crazy yes...odd yes...talented yes. when i see him act i kind of forget about his personal life but i still enjoy watching him on the screen.

Steven looks surprised in the first picture but seems to be using one arm to keep Crazy Tom at a distant. In the second picture Steven looks kind of scared like he's thinking "holy crap, this nut job has his hand on the back of my neck and is going to vaporize my brains with his alien powers..."

Then again, maybe the hand on the back of the neck is Vulcun trick to control people that Spock taught Tom.

Kylake, I agree, he always grabs the people shoulders really hard when he greets them. He must be trying to make up for his short stature by showing how strong he is. I saw him do this to Philip Seymour Hoffman and I was like, damn he must have broke that man's shoulder, LOL. Tom used to be one of my fav actors now he scares me. Please will someone in Hollywood restrain him and give him back his handlers and his meds before he does any more damage.

I do not doubt for a minute that Spielberg thinks Tom is a nutcase, however, they have a lonng history in the biz, and they still makw millions off of eachother, which is why Steven overlooks his craziness.
