Broderick drove his rented BMW 316 head-on into another car carrying 63-year-old Margaret Doherty and her 30-year-old daughter Anna Gallagher; both women were killed. Broderick had to be cut out of the car; he suffered facial lacerations and a broken thigh. Grey escaped with minor injuries. Broderick had no memory of the event, whilst Grey was distracted at the moment of the accident in the process of changing audio tapes and also remembered seeing nothing. The lack of witnesses, skid marks or other evidence led Broderick to plead guilty in absentia on February 15, 1988 to the lesser charge of careless driving. He was fined £100.

What's amazing is how brandy's accident occured on Dec. 30th AND WE'RE JUST NOW READING ABOUT IT!

and fantasia is sounding crazy with the coulda, shoulda, woulda...some things we just need to be silent about. what does bringing up that fact this late in the game prove? doesn't prove that she could have pulled the role of effie off. not to mention the fact that she *in no way* physically resembles the effie character. AND IMO, she does not have the level of control it takes to sing the scene-stealing song "and I am telling you". fantasia would have been hopping all over the place, the song was not meant to be sung that way and frankly, i cant picture her pulling it off convincingly....but overall, i like fantasia...
