I'm happy she sought help. There all different types of rehab programs. Some require complete isolation...others try and help you balance getting clean while holding on to some of your regular life. It's up to the addict to decide what kind of program would work best. So, hopefully this program is working for Lindsay, and she can go back to being that great actor we knew and loved in "Mean Girls".

I don't know very much about rehab but that seemed short. My friend's sister just checked into rehab and no one can contact her for a year.

Wow, it's amazing that LL could be rehabilitated so quickly! It must be because she is just such an amazing person!!!! (There is a hint of sarcasm here)

when will all these twits go away... they are not ever that talented and most of them are ugly anywayz... It makes me sick to think that young girls idolize these freaks..

Does it say that she's out of rehab? Or that she's completing rehab and working at the same time? Some rehab programs are just day programs...not all of them require you to reside on the premises. When I was in rehab, I was there for three days to detoxify, and then went for daily sessions while I worked.

I cant stand LL - shes trashy. (however, she was so cute when she was little, its really a shame) It's just a matter of time before she's out slutting around again. She should have checked into fashion rehab too ... might have taken longer than a week!

I agree not all programs are alike and I am no expert buuuuuut..
It sounds like her alcohol problem was out of control...she was claiming sobriety & sneaking vodka into water bottles. That's some serious $hit right there...let's not forget abt all her "dehydartion" trips to the hospital, absences from work, and passing out of the floor (literally) after the Golden Globes.
The girl is a MESS. She is kidding herself if she thinks a few booze free nights are going to fix her problems.

The picture for LL carryinh the grocery bag(3rd pic,I think)reminds me of the scene from Girl, Interupted when they were taken on the outing to get ice cream.

Technically she's been in rehab for a while then. Shopping and eating, that's all she really ever does. Oh, with the odd film thrown in.

I thought I read on another site that when she is out of the clinic, she has a "companion" from the clinic with her at all times to keep her sober and healthy. I could be totally making that up...but I thought I did see it somewhere.

It's not unlike when Kat(i)e Holmes first starting seeing Tom Cruise and she was running around with her Scientology BFF.

I've tried to like LL but every time I see her she looks more and more nasty. Shoes with no socks, wearing black all the time, chipped up nasty black fingernails, messy hair, and orangy skin...she just looks like she stinks...literally.

I saw it reported on television, that the "patients" at Wonderland are not free to roam at will, they are required to have a chaperone.
I hope she gets better, she's too talented to waste it.

I read somewhere today that the only reason she went into rehab was because she was told by the studios to either get it together or her career was over. People who are successful at rehab are the ones who go in because they know they have a problem they really want to take care of. So I hope she went in really wanting to help herself rather than just thinking rehab would be a quick, easy fix.

a local radio show this morning said she was being replaced on a movie she had signed up for and that her agent was talking about dumping her because her image is so tarnished that she's getting only crappy parts offered to her.

rehab in 1 week. so that's like speed-rehab, right?

yeah. right. sorry to break the news but rehab takes more then a week...what happened to the detox? that alone will take a week...i am sick of her if she really wanted to get better she would make a honest attempt at it, not this 1/2 ass sh*t..
