Nicole Kidman has been involved in an on-set accident while filming The Invasion. The details are blurry at this point, but Entertainment Tonight has more:
The actress and her co-star, child actor JACKSON BOND, were shooting a chase scene when a stunt driver lost control while turning a corner on slick pavement. The street had been wet down with water before the scene. Their Jaguar crashed into a pole and hit a garbage can.
Two crew members who were strapped to the top of the Jag were also involved, but it is not known if anyone was seriously hurt.
Nicole and the other performers were taken to a local hospital to be checked for injuries.
As you can see, the information is scarce at this point, but we will keep you updated as the story develops. Hopefully everyone involved in the accident is safe and on the way to a speedy recovery.
Update: Us has more recent news on the accident and is reporting Nicole was released from Cedars Sinai after two hours. Although she was in shock and needed a long break, she resumed shooting later in the evening. No details yet on the other people involved in the accident.

24I just saw the video of the accident and screw Nicole hitting her head..their were like 6 stunt men hanging on to the hood of the car when it accidentally went from 45 mph to zero hitting a building and a light post that then rained glass down on them.. yet not a single mention on whether not any one gave a rats ass if they were ok!! Poor guys! And Nicole looked like she slammed her heard sideways intot he car window..
Glad no one was seriously hurt. Geesh!

I just found out that Nicole walks and meditates (when she's in Nashville) a few yards from the house where I work. I'd never apporoach her, but when I hear that she's back in town I'm totally gonna add long walks around the lake to my morning routine! Glad she's alright.
