I'm pretty sure that Jessica Simpson and John Mayer are awesome (yes, as I have previously admitted, I'm one of the few die hard Simpson Supporters), so I refuse to believe recent reports of things not being as rosy as they seem. Yes, no matter what Page Six tells me, I will wick off rumored unhappiness until they officially break up (...next week). Here's more:
"John was extremely quiet and didn't speak a lot," said a source, while Jessica "just gave a lot of puppy-dog looks and twirled and twisted her hair." The two were seen holding hands, but Simpson left Mayer for 20 minutes while she "fixed herself up for the camera" before heading back to their hotel.
See, puppy-dog eyes and hair-twirling are basically Jessica Simpson mating calls, not signs of desperation. I swear they're happy...pout.

I use to be a John Mayer fan, but lost interest even before this was ever news. It doesn't make me care any more. Not a fan of Jessica Simpson either.
38I was at the John Mayer concert last night in Orlando and they are definitely still together. She was in the sound booth, dancing to his music and taking pictures with her digital camera.

She is just everything that I wouldn't want to be in a woman...ALL focused on the outside appearance WITH NO substance on the inside to back it up! Clinging to John and doing all of that crap is just a way to mask all of the pain, just as shopping usually does for her. I dunno I think she needs to just take a time out and find herself. Maybe she is right now and I hope she comes back as a STRONG, self-assured lady instead of a self-portrayed ditz with no substance.

42Jessica Simpson is 26 years old and dating that's it. She's young and she got married too young and got a divorce. A lot of that pressure came from her family, she's just now coming into her own as a woman. Good for her.
She's doing what Britney Spears should be doing, exploring. She's not showing us her vagina, she's not whoring around with tons of different guys, she's not doing drugs, she's not becoming an anorexic. She's dating a guy who she finds interesting, there is no crime in that.
The biggest crime she's ever committed has been listening to her parents too much, trying to follow their every rule. She's finally able to grow on her own and I bet she's really enjoying this relationship with John Mayer.
