OMG, I thought Kellie Pickler was pretty bad. I thought they just kept her on the show for so long because people felt sorry for her...and that 14 year old boys thought she was hot.

16FB1977, I'm not male, but I will say that I think part of it is that young girls are easier. They haven't lived through a lot, so they don't really bring baggage to a relationship. It's almost like having a blank slate and when you're in a longterm, complicated relationship/marriage, with ups and downs and compromises, easy sounds really, really good.

25I believe that (some) older men like younger women because it's all about the s-e-x and because like LoneWolf said, they are too young to know when they are being manipulated and told what to do. Older women put up with a lot less crap. Okay I'm a bit cynical but I think that's a lot of what it is. Men, correct me if I'm wrong and I'll eat those words gladly. No I don't think they're all like that ( I do believe there can be real love between people of big age gaps in many cases) but I don't know, seems like someone who's married to Christie Freakin' Brinkley would have to have some major inferiority issues which would be cleared up pretty nicely by having a starry-eyed 19 year old thinking he's hot stuff.
