Has the summer in Boston made Ben and Jen realize they no longer want to live in LA? US Weekly reports:
So long, L.A.! Us has learned Ben Affleck, 33, and Jennifer Garner, 34, have plans to raise 8-month-old Violet in his hometown. “They realize it’s important to be as ‘un-Hollywood’ as they can,” says a pal. Plus, they’ll save money on a sitter: His mom, Chris, lives in the area.

Since this is a gossip site, I have to dish about Ben. Back in his Gwen days, he and my girlfriend hooked up at a party. She said that he was seis-mically challenged (catch the pun, if you will), but gave the best oral ever. Wow.

20Sorry if this upsets anyone.... But I think Ben should of stuck with Jlo!! I find Garner really irritating and gummy! Least Ben n Jlo looked great together!! Plus they were well suited with their Diva'trums!!

25That is one cute baby. I think it's a real testament to the parents they are moving out of California for the betterment of their child's life. Boston's a great place.
26What planet are you guys on? While I am no LA fan, Boston is not superior to anywhere on the west coast. Boston has this hard edged Irish dirtiness to it and no pretty beaches, plus the eye candy is few and far in between. I am happy they are leaving LA, so the paps can't get more pics of them, but please choose a city I can at least say is better. Boston nor Massachusettes, my dears, is definitely not better than California.

28Love them! I think it's great that they are trying to raise Violet in a normal environment. I like the fact that they are down to earth and don't have all the drama of typical hollywood couples. Who knows what the future holds, but if this is any indication, they know what they need to do to make it work.
I imagine it was nice having a little extra privacy while in Boston over the summer.
29I think its a good sign. Hollywood is hard on a couple. When you are a rich actor you can live anywhere. You just have a longer commute to work.
30i'm so glad they're moving away to raise their little girl away from hollywood and all the drama. they seem like a very grown-up couple, not at all tabliod material. caligirl, i disagree, i don't think boston has a "irish dirtiness" to it. i've always had fun when i visit boston, i think it's lovely.

36I don't think it really matters where they are moving as long as it is out of LA, it doesn't matter if it is "better" then LA.
I think the whole idea is just to get their baby out of the spotlight and in Boston I think they will have better luck keeping her life private, at least more private.

Our spies at Boston’s Signature Air report that when Violet Affleck’s mum, Jennifer Garner, flew back into Boston the other night on a private jet, she refused to hop into the rented SUV that was awaiting their arrival from Arizona.
Apparently, the big black tank wasn’t equipped with a baby seat. And our spies say Garner, who flew in from the set of “The Kingdom,” was “adamant” that the driver get one!
“She took the baby in the terminal and didn’t come out until someone returned with a seat,” said our tarmac spy. “And when the guy did come back with one, it took him about 20 minutes to figure out how to secure it. She wasn’t happy.”
Obviously, the guy was a bachelor . . .
At some point, the seat was installed, baby Vi was strapped in and Mom and daughter drove off to see Daddy in Cambridge.

40What a sweetie! Good for them (of true...USweekly hasn't a great record lately were truth is concerned). They're my other fav celeb pair after Pitt/Jolie, and I wish nothing but good things for the family.
41Not normal is the new "it" thing in America. I'm glad somebody's moving out of Cali though because our population is growing wayyyyyyyy too fast and I'm tired of stepping on people when I walk.
42i think it's a really good decision to raise violet in a normal city. she'll probably grow up to have normal friends, rather than a bunch of celebrities, and won't think too much of herself because her family is so famous.
