Josh Hartnett didn't appear too broken up about his split with long-time girlfriend Scarlett Johansson. In fact, he was reportedly seeing 30 Days of Night costar Amber Sainsbury before he even officially split with the Sexiest Woman Alive. He's also been linked to Gisele and, most recently, Sienna. However, the split with Scarlett was apparently very hard on Josh. Here's more:

  • "It was difficult spending so much time apart with all our different commitments and both of us flying all over the world." Josh said, ""At the end of the day, we're just ordinary people and it didn't work."
  • But a source says: "Josh was gutted when he and Scarlett split - he thought she was really special and felt they might last the distance. But the pressure just got too much and when they saw each other they'd row as they were both so exhausted. It's taken a while but he's getting over it now - he's just immersing himself in work."
  • The spy continues: "Scarlett was very much a one-off. She was independent, feisty and outgoing - everything he wanted. But the relationship just didn't work out."

Recently, he's now gotten involved with the Global Cool Campaign to take his mind off of things. Everyone deals with heartbreak in different ways, so it's nice to see that Josh is putting his free time towards helping the environment rather than wallowing in self-pity.
