We were gushing over how cute Jen and Violet were last week, so much so that you all thought Jen should hurry up and have another one. Many of you even thought Violet looks just like her mommy. While Jen was making the rounds for her latest movie, Catch and Release, she spoke about how wonderful it was to have time off to just be a mom. Here's more:
Q: What was it like having that time away from your career?
A: Well, you know, it's kind of been heaven. All of the above. After "Alias," of course, I was terrified and didn't know if I was going to hate having time on my own and fall apart, or if I was going to embrace it. And really I have to say, having a baby fills your life in such a way that no matter what you're doing, there's something bigger. Whether you're working or not, you care more about your own life. I've just been in heaven being with her the past year.
Q: Did having a baby make you think of your own mother?
A: Of course, yeah. Now I call her and say, "You know all the dinners you made that I said 'No' to and ate peanut butter instead?" Now I say, "I get it, Mom." You know, I slaved over roasting this and making that, and she's "No, no, no."

I see Jennifer G, Angelina J, Kate H, Heidi K, Kate B and the list goes on with celeb mom's all loving their kids, enjoying spending time with them, being head over heals with being a mother, and I just start to feel sad for Britney's boys. She's never going to get this time back. You don't see any of the above w/out their kids hardly ever and these are people who could easily hand them over to the hired help. Garner always has such a joyful look on her face when she's with Violet and I'm so happy to see her so happy.

We're in the processing of trying to get pregnant and I want a little cutie just like Violet. I also love the name.Gorgeous.
18She is so normal that it's a little bit disconcerting each time I see posts about her. She could so easily be behind me in the checkout line at the grocery store, along with all the other moms who threw on whatever was handy and didn't bother to wash their hair that morning. Hard to believe she is in LA. She looks so displaced! (In a good way.) I think she is so happy with her daughter but I do not believe she is happy there.

21OMG, these two are SO cute together. I love how Jennifer totally wears jeans and a sweatshirt or tee and sneakers. That's how real moms dress when they go to the park because it's easier to be active with your kids.
