Miss Universe was declared last night. Yeah, I didn't care either but the news of the day is that winner, Miss Puerto Rico Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza passed out following the show. During a new conference after the event she collapsed and was rushed off stage. People reports:
"She's okay. She's fine," pageant representative Lark Anton told Reuters. "She got dizzy. It's very hot up here. Her dress is tight – as you could see it was beaded and heavy. She passed out."
The other important thing they included is that she "had plenty to eat today." Yeah, right, I'm sure.

8who said she was anorexic? i'm sure she is on a VERY limited diet, but it doesn't mean she's anorexic. i've been on stage before and it gets really hot, you can barely see, especially when you're just crowned Miss Universe, hey, you might be a little light headed.
p.s. so many people are misdiagnosed now-a-days. alot of people get treated for being depressed when really they might have been "in the dumps" for a week or so. just how some people eat more than others, does that mean the people who eat less are automatically anorexic? NOOOO...

11I watched some of the show last night and almost all of those girls havw healthy bodies...they ware thin but they have muscle tone and filled out their clothes the way they were meant to. they work hard to get those bodies and they would not look as good (they're hair, skin, face, everything) unless they ate

13I have also been on stage, dancing and I didnt pass out. I use to do dance recitals and I would be so hot and I would have to do three different dances each night for two nights in a row. Maybe she really did just get overheated but I mean we are talking about someone in a pageant and a lot of these girls are expected to be bone thin, so to assume she could be isnt wrong but to say she is without truly knowing is. I mean I googled her to see how skinny she is and she isnt as skinny as Nicole Richie.....I know what its like to accused of having an eating disorder, my own mother thought I had one about a year and half ago when I was 104 pounds at 5'6 almost 5'7. Now i am 124 pounds.

27Sweetness, Angelina never ran for Miss Universe, she was chosen most beautiful by every world magazine though and they go strictly on looks. No one in America cares about pageants anymore, we don't even watch our own Miss America. I'm not picking on you doll, just stating facts.

There was Japan, who I LOVED , she was so cute, she was 1st runner up.
I think the other 2 were some other Latin country Paraguay? She was not that great, but very tall, and the other was a blonde from some nordic country, she was gorgeous too.
I knew Puerto Rico was going to win, she was a total vixen, all of these girls have A LOT of surgery, you can tell. Puerto Rico's body was insane. She had a dress kind of like Rose Mcgowans dress - not so see through) when she was with Marylin Manson and she wore that dress with her ass hanging out. It was a similar style.
