The only sad part is that the poor baby is going to have a sad life. Anna Nicole is pathetic. I don't wish death on anyone (and I hope she lives through this), but she had plenty of opportunity to clean herself up. If she couldn't do it for that precious baby then nothing was going to help her.

i read about it on cnn, and all i could think is about that poor baby who doesn't have a mom anymore and no one can decide who the father is.

yup, she's dead. i know i'm supposed to feel sorry for her but i'm having a hard time because she was such a trainwreck from the start and frankly, brought it upon herself. is that too harsh?

Just because someone dies, doesn't mean that you have to suddenly like them. That being said, she was a human being, and her death will have ramifications in the lives of many other people, including innocents like her child. I think in the end it's ok not to like or approve of how she lived her life, but respect that she was a person who was loved and will be missed.

No, i won't apologize for feeling this way. What about average people who die alone everyday and don't get any love or recognition even if they lived crappy lives? what about innocent Iraqis who are killed or our soldiers who die everyday? They get maybe 3 seconds of media coverage and already this story is HUGE. That's what annoys the crap out of me! that someone who has completely screwed up her life (without remorse, mind you) is going to be treated like a saint when 20 minutes ago everyone is saying how horrid and messed up she was! (including myself)

nicachica, you're absolutely right. Unfortunately, blogs and articles about GI's aren't nearly as popular as celeb ones, so it's inevitable that this one woman's death will receive more air time. Doesn't make it right, just inevitable...
