Umm, awesome? Kevin Federline and Justin Timberlake had a meeting of the minds on the red carpet last night. The conversation (or awkward man-hug only, as the case may be) was obviously instigated by K-Fed. Methinks Justin might not have found it as amusing. As oddly well thought of as Kevin may be these days, it's still strange to see that he is invited to fancy events like this. I mean, is he going to be on the Grammy red carpet tomorrow and Britney's not? In what kind of Bizarro world does that happen? In any event, hilarious to see Justin try to exit the K-Fed situation as quickly as possible.

24Well K-Fed was one of Justin's backup dancers before he and Britney hooked up, that's actually how K-fed and Britney technically first met, I think she hired him as one of her dancers after that. I'm not suprised they acknowledged each other. Hollywood is such a small incestuous world lol!

People are assuming way too much about these pics. We don't know for sure what transpired between JT and K-Fed. For all we know the situation might not have been as awkward as people are making it out to be.
Personally I don't think there's a budding friendship or anything like that here. I think both men just are being polite and civil to one another. It's called being an adult, something the ex they have in common could learn from them.

JT has too much class, i doubt he is friends wit K-fed. but im sure they have some stories to tell about how messed up britney is. im sure they have a good laugh or two together over the whole thing. personally i still cant believe how brit came out on the bottom of this whole thing..we were all rooting for her on letterman and she looked so good then. i actually had hope for her. but between now and then it looks like shes gained 20lbs and done a ton of drugs. im suprised she still has her kids....

44If someone moves in for a hug like that, there isn't a graceful way to skip it. But I doubt JT has any issues being polite to KFed in a public setting. There's a man-code... guys don't sit around and swap notes on ex's usually. More likely they would sum up the whole Britney topic with a shrug and roll of the eyes, then talk about something else.
KFed was already in the industry before he got plucked from the back, so he probably always went to these kinds of events, but nobody cared enough to report on it.
But I bet Britney is gnashing her teeth over these pics.

47This picture pains me very much. Justin is smiling and participating in the man hug. It really shows he does not care about Britney at all any more- further dashing all hopes of a reconciliation. I mean I wouldn't expect that he would punch K-Fed or anything barbaric but he didn't have to be SOOO civil! Maybe he really doesn't care about Britney at all anymore.
