Yeah. Nicole's biological folks are biracial. I heard that one of the Commodores was her biological dad, and Sheila E. is her aunt, cause of her biological father. She was raised by black parents though. People quiz me about my heritage, cause I say black when I am really black and irish, some people are offended by that I guess. I love Nicole though, she is sooo silly. Even though she could use a bite to eat.

Paris and Nicole were never really feuding. I heard tell that they still get together and fairly recently, Nicole was spotted leaving Paris' house. I like Nicole.

Nicole is cute and funny--I always liked her better than Paris--but, it pisses me off when she says "I'm black." Seriously. Why even label yourself at all? Especially when you change every physical characteristic that would identify you as a particular "race"? And, what is wrong with claiming your full ethnicity? You don't have to be black, white, yellow, brown or red. You can be all of the above if that's what you are. Claiming one thing and denying another is wrong, no matter what. FYI-I know she was joking and all, but it's not the first time that she's gone around saying "I'm black" like she's trying to be cute or controversial about it.

There is nothing wrong with claiming your full ethnicity. I didn't actually read where she denied anything.

I hate to make anything of Nicole's comment because I don't think she meant it to cause a stur, but I hear people making off the mark comments about Nicole and her experience as a mixed race individual. I live in a city where there are tons of mixed race people, and I've heard from them that being mixed race doesn't mean that you're race neutral. It means that you can claim one, or all of the races that are part of you. Nicole can say that she's black on one day if she wants and that she's white on another day if she wants, it's up to her, both are true. She can also say that she's mixed (but being mixed is not it's own race people).

Being multi-ethnic is being multi-ethnic. There really is no such thing as race, anyway. It's all about the human race!
