Kate and Pete, in a seemingly rare moment of cleanliness and non-disheveled outfits, were out in London this week to celebrate the opening of the Face of Fashion exhibit at England's National Portrait Gallery. Kate's portrait, a set of nine images taken by Corinne Day, the artist who photographed Kate for Vogue 14 years ago, is the centerpiece of the show and will stay in the Gallery after the exhibit's run is over. Moss's reaction to Day's new images was self-deprecating. "I've got crooked teeth, bow legs, a wonky nose," said the model.
Day said:"It's very intimate. I wanted the shots to be genuine so that when people look at them each picture will say something different."
Kate never fails to take interesting pictures (that's why she's Kate Moss, after all), and these ones are no exception. Plus, it's a little reassuring to see Pete looking less completely high. Perhaps this time he'll be clean for good? Baby steps. Now we just have to figure out a way to get to London to see the rest of the exhibit.

1He looks about the same to me as in every other photo. She does not look like she is aging well. Her eyes and skin don't look like a model's here.

5I disagree - I think the photographs show a different side to "Kate Moss, the model". That's just my opinion. I have to say, I hate what she's wearing here, and I refuse to comment on Pete (well, after this) for what I hope are obvious reasons. He must be really good in the sack. There. I said it.

In London's Madame Tussauds they have a wax works of Kate and you can sit next to her and have your picture taken and your get a print out of the you and her as a magazine lay out....I am sure that Pop or Molly will report on this later.
9Hate the dress, love the pics. It's refreshing to see the real Kate. I think it makes her even more beautiful. Oh, and Pete still looks like a hot mess.
10She's just not beautiful to me. At all. I see exactly what she sees with the nose and the teeth and the legs. I also see beady eyes and lank hair. It has ALWAYS boggled my mind how this woman is considered beautiful enough to model.

15i still love kate moss. i think she's beautiful and has a great sense of style. those comments she made about herself above were so sad...it's weird how some of the world's most beautiful women can have low self image.
16I don't think it's low self image to be able to see your flaws. She DOES have an odd nose and crooked teeth. My eyebrows grow in crazy and my breasts are too small, but I still think I'm a relatively attractive woman. I'm sure Kate believes she is beautiful, and I think it was kind of refreshingly honest for her to see what her flaws are.
I read my previous comment and it was kind of harsh. I don't think Kate is beautiful enough to model, or even very beautiful for a regular woman, but there is something attractive about her.
What I think she does suffer from is an addictive personality. I can't understand why she continues to be in a relationship with that Pete guy.

21she doesnt really fit the ideal beaty standards but she has such a unique attractiveness. i think its more about her attitude and style. im not big fan of the dress shes wearing herre but she always manages to look gorgeous in everything. i totally agree with sashak, she does have a very strong presence. except i think shes amazing looking and aging just fine but i might be a little biased since i adore her.
22i agree with a lot of comments posted here, she isn't a classic beauty or even a knock out but she has a presence that you can't deny. or she just photographs very well, which i can not. so good for her.

27You don't have to be stunningly beautiful to be model. It's too boring if the model is perfect. Kate has a really recognizable face and that is what makes her so popular.
28I like Kate Moss, I think you can tell she's had a rough couple of years by the expression on her face.She's got sad eyes.
