The Chicago development group that's heading up Nicky's new hotel filed a lawsuit yesterday for breach of contract over the delayed project. According to them, Nicky supposedly contracted out interior design work she was supposed to do herself and then attempted to charge it back to the developer! The group also claims that Nicky and her "associates" were much less qualified in design than they claimed. As expected, Elliot Mintz was on hand to set the record straight. Here's more:
"Things are not always as they appear," he said. "When the facts surrounding this matter are known to the public I think you will find out that the person who has been most impacted by this action will be Nicky Hilton. … In the meantime, I don't think anybody should draw any conclusions based on the simple filing of a lawsuit."
We're not too worried about Nicky. Somehow we think this will all just go away like most bad press that involves the girls.

I am so over the whole Hilton family-- just go away, already!
1I used to sorta kinda like Nicky. I felt that she was paying the price for her sister's actions. But after her behavior on ParisExposed...ugh, I can't stand the sight of her.

3Elliot Mintz's quote does not even say anything. Of course the person most impacted is Nicky Hilton, she's the one being sued! And yes things AREN'T always as they appear- that's why she's being sued! She can't design squat and it takes years to learn & acquire experience to do this.

5Maybe the Hilton backlash is catching on? Paris tossed from the Beverly Hills Hotel post-Grammy's, Macy's pulling Nicky's clothing line. It would be nice to see them disappear.
6Ugh, is Eliott Mintz a publicist or attorney? Maybe he should leave the conclusions to those who actually know what a contract is lol, obviously he and Nicky do not.
I think it's hilarious she tried to pass along the costs from the contractor. These girls' have zero talent.
7I still remember this painfully awkward she did on Letterman where he clearly did not like her and mocked her qualifications to be a hotelier. (Is that the word?) She was so snooty, and defensive. It was one of those viewing experiences where you cannot stand the person you're watching, but you still can't help but feel sorry for them they're bombing so bad...

9Are they really that suprised? They were doing it for the name more than anything. Also what a coincidence they decide to dump her after her Paris Exposed antics were making people even more fed up with her. I think they were cool with it until the PE backlash began. Anyone know how long this deal was in the works? If I am right it should have been over a year now and they should have realized it and sued her much earlier. Her name just isn't worth anything anymore.

14Oh dear, poor guys. C'mon did they really think a 23 year old with no higher learning and a party girl rep would really be capable of taking on this project? They are all a bunch of idiots - a little research on blogs would have answered that question and for free too! The Hiltons have far exceeded their 15 minutes and I would be glad to never see them again. Wonder what the brother thinks - at least he keeps a low profile.
15I think they wanted out after they saw Paris exposed. There were supposely a lot of racial remarks from Nicky and Paris on there. I think that website definatly hurt them, which is good for a change. Im so sick of seeing these skanks get worshipped, I do nt think Paris is a good person. She is nice to her "fans" because she knows she is damn lucky to have fans with no talent behind her.
Also, all of Nicky's handbags and clothes have been wh*reanus, so I can not imagine hger decorating a hotel

19why is this surprising? everyone knew that this "hotel" was nothing but a big joke. just because you can design a couple purses and some dresses, doesnt mean you can design an entire hotel.
