Nick proves once again that he is just a nice guy. In the PR war between him and Jessica, one thing is for sure, he comes off as the more caring, more mature and more genuine person. In a recent interview he acts coy about Vanessa by saying, "She's a great friend. I'll leave it at that." He also says he can't wait to be a father and that is what he looks forward to more than anything else. The nicest thing he revealed is that he is still rooting for Jessica. He said:
"I'm a huge fan of hers, I always have been," he says. "I wish her nothing but the best with everything she does in life including her singing career. She deserves every bit of success she's had."
It's interviews like these that make us root for Nick!!!

14I had the pleasure of meeting Nick Lachey and he's just a really nice down to earth guy. Granted no one lives behind the closed doors of a marriage, but it certainly seemed like he was surprised by her decision to divorce.
