[0]Samson

This is my dog Samson, whom I've had for about 3 months now. I never realized how much you can love something in such a short amount of time. He is a wonderful dog and has a very great and goodnatured personality. He is a Siberian Husky that we rescued from a home where he was being abused by his former owners. When we got him, he only weighed 56 pounds, now three months later, he is up to 64 pounds and is doing much better.

The one thing that has driven me completely insane about this type of dog; the amazing amount of fur that he sheds! I have almost completely filled a 13 gallon trash bag with the fur that has come off of him! This breed of dog sheds their entire overcoat once or twice a year, which leaves a very puffy dog looking a little scarwny at the end of it all!

This breed of dog is also prone to run away a lot in search of adventure, so Samson cannot be let off of his leash when we go outside. Luckily he is inside most of the time, so this is not really a problem.
