Whether or not she is "beautiful" or "average", she looks really good. She whipped her body back into shape after Suri, and that in itself is admirable (enviable!).

I love her, always have, always will...no matter how many little alien elves she marries!

Of course the *pictures (especially the distance shots) look good, almost anyone can photograph well if they are "glamour styled" within an inch of their life and are wearing designer clothes. This is Harper's after all. Because she is extremely average with resepect to appearance. But she is thin, I will give her that.
And I agree with GolferGirl, her eyes are DEAD looking.

I think her brows lack in arch, making them look like almost straight diagonal lines, which combined with the slant of her eyes, makes the eye and brow area look like sideway V's .

And of course Tiny Tom thinking she is the most beautiful woman in the world..she is practically his twin (or could be his sister they look so much alike)! Tom loves himself more than anything, well except maybe for one thing..but he keeps that in the closet.

I think she is a beautiful woman. Her daughter fortunatly got her looks. The next step for her is to stop following in Tom's foot steps and stand up and take a roll in a movie, she is a talented lady and she has proved that in the past lets see what she has now that she has a different perspective on life.

During the whole Dawson Creek days I thought she would be someone fun to hang with.. now I think I would cross the street to avoid her.. she would be that psycho person talking whimsical nonsense that you feel like you deserve an Oscar for acting interested/engaged in what the hell they are saying while planning an escape.

Poor Katie.. she doesn't realize she has become the butt of a international joke.. a walking freak show.

I'm not sure why some people have such strong (negative) opinions about Katie. Regardless of how she is made up for this photoshoot (and isn't everyone?), she always appears put together, and many people have loved her look since Dawson's Creek. Give credit where credit is due!

Whiplashgirl, have you ever seen old pics of Nicole, from the early years with Tom? When she was wearing flowery, Laura Ahsley-like dresses and big hats? Although I agree with you that Katie does not have her own style yet, and looks awkward in many of the outfits she wears, it is amazing what time, money and being in the limelight can do to one's person style..

She actually does have a project coming up, its a comedy that begins filming in April, so just because she's taken time off to have a baby doesn't mean she's given up her acting career. Also, on IMDB it says her given name is KATE Noelle Holmes, so it's not like Tom re-named her.

She looks gorgeous! I couldn't be more happy for her and her beautiful family. I'd love to know that they are as happy as they seem.
