Beyonce is the first celebrity ever to score the cover for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and last night was her night to celebrate the hot photoshoot. At the Pacific Design Center in LA Beyonce showed off her bikini ready bod in a little black dress. It wasn't an easy task getting her body to look so fabulous for the magazine. Here's more:
To physically prepare for the shoot, the "Bootylicious" singer says she had to watch what she ate – which was especially tough because it was scheduled right after Thanksgiving. "At dinner, I kept thinking: this extra piece of pie will show up," she says. "I always make sure I celebrate it up, but I was so terrified with every little thing I ate this year." Before the photo session, the singer relaxed by listening to some of her favorite music. "I listened to John Legend's new album. It's soothing, sexy and old school. It got me in the mood."
And once it got started, Beyoncé had a little help from her friends – and most of her family. "Kelly Rowland (of Destiny's Child) showed up. My mom was there; my nephew," she says. "Dad was going to come, but he said, 'Well, I'll, um, meet you in Orlando after the shoot. I'm not so sure that I want to see this. All my blessings; you're a big girl. But I'm not so sure I want to see it.' "
But dad had nothing to worry about. Beyoncé says she's proud of the pictures. "These are photos I can show my kids some day," she says, "so I can say, 'See, momma was beautiful. Look how good I looked!' "

What does it really matter what she ate leading up to this photo shoot? They probably had to photoshop 50 pounds of cellulite off her barfalicious butt anyway!!

11Why do celebrities do this to me? I used to LOVE Beyonce (back the "Say My Name" days), but now I find her to be a HUGE TURN OFF. My original love was for her voice - which is incredible, and should be saved for singing only soulful songs, and not the trash she's been cranking out lately - but I can't find a single thing to love about her anymore.
12Her body isn't that fabulous and I'm sure photoshop was the best friend in this photo shoot. She has a pretty face but everything else, to me, is boring.

I actually really like her music, but I heard that when she was in Minneapolis for a charity event for Best Buy she was a total diva and when people asked for her auto graph she was so rude! Also heard she was a huge giant and that when she stood next to Dave Matthews he came up to her thigh! Anyone who has her on their hollywooddraft.com team should probably take her off! Seriously!

18Yeah, it is totally photoshopped. She did lose weight for Dreamgirls but she has put it back on. She is not as skinny as she was in the film.

20I guess I like Beyonce just fine, she has never annoyed me but I DO NOT think she deserves to be on the cover of SI. One of the top honors a model can recieve is to be on the cover of SI and by sticking a pop star on the front it has incredibly pissed off the modeling world, and I understand why! As if Beyonce doesn't recieve enough fame and magazine space, she has to envade another world. Not necassarly her fault, I think if SI came to me I would agree, but still, I feel it was disrespectful to models.
And yes, she lost lots of weight for Dreamgirls but I saw in an interview where she said she had gained it all back. Airbrushed and edited it definitly is, no wonder the world stresses about weight!

I read on a board that someone met her in person in NY, and Beyonce was smaller than she was (and she is a size 4.) 37Pop has become infantile. I don't post often and I rarely read the comments anymore. The silly comments people make on here are sad. The name calling, the racist comments on some of the posts, the hate of people you don't know. Beyonce fat? In what world? She looks the same as the photo she's standing next to. Beyonce is a beautiful girl. You may think she wears to much fake hair. She's not alone in that. Almost all celebrities where it now. She wears fur. So what? Last time I checked that wasn't illegal. You never see her flashing herself, getting drunk, using drugs, calling people names while her sister eggs her on, hoping from man to man, showing up late for work, or backing out of commitments at the last minute.
