The hilarious yet painful city auditions are done and this week Simon, Paula and Randy chose the final 24. There were a few shocking disappointments (bye bye Thomas Daniels, we wonder if this record has anything to do with your early departure). We only got to see a few minutes for each contestant so at this point we have to trust the judges with their choices. They have done this thing for a while now so they seem to know a thing of two about picking winners. Buzz has predicted their top 12 and Pop has her favorites too. You know we love Chris Sligh but he seems to be missing from Buzz predicted list. As for the top ladies, we are hoping single mom Lakisha Jones sticks around, but we are betting Antonella Barba is one the who will go far.

4Now that the bad auditions are over I have no interest in this show.
5went to college with melinda doolittle - she's always had an amazing voice and it's only improved with the experience she's had singing background vocals. she's a humble woman, which i think will endear her to many people.
but most of all, damn can that girl sing!!
6I couldn't believe the two last cuts that were made. I think a guy will win, they're way better than the girls.
