It depends on what it is. For example, when Jennifer Aniston started wearing Jennifer Meyer's necklaces I wanted one SO BAD! I think they are super stylish and I would totally buy one if I had the $$.

I agree w/ AmyLyn. If I like a celeb's style and see what they're wearing and they look cute in it, I totally want that outfit. There was an episode of "Friends" where Rachel wore this black suit and white shirt with this cool collar to a job interview with Gucci (her interviewer was played by Brent Spiner, who was Data on Star Trek! LOL!!) and, to this day, I still look for shirts like that! And that episode aired three years ago!!

At the end of the day, though, it's more about the clothes and the style than it is the endorsement.

I do have to say, though, that the opposite also applies. If I see a celeb I don't like wearing something, I tend to steer clear of that label or style.

It depends. I might buy something from Madonna's H&M line, because it looks cute, but NOT because it has anything to do with Madonna. If an item is cute, reasonably priced, and fits me well, I'll buy it regardless of WHO does or doesn't endorse it.

Well, I personally am less influenced and motivated by stars when it comes to fashion. I'm usually motivated by strangers on the street. I think everyday people definitely have a wonderful sense of style. It's amazing what you can put together with a zilchy budget.

PS: If I owned a boutique or a clothing line, Mariah Carey would be the last celeb on my list...she has ZIPPY style, LOL.

I just saw a really cute pair of shoes the other day. When I picked them up they were Jessica Simpson shoes. I had to put them down. For some reason I just couldn't bring myself to buying her shoes.

I most recently checked out Jessica Simpsons shoes. They are over priced and the quality is cheap. I think most stars are there for the money and lack the quality. I wouldn't just buy their clothes to be "cool" like them.

Absolutely not -- while I may borrow style suggestions, etc., I wouldn't buy something endorsed to the whole world by a celebrity...I prefer to support my local designers and much rather shop in small, local-owned stores (we're spoiled in SF) than buy into some uber-trend sold all over, only to see my fashion twin walking down the street.

I..well actually my dad, bought me some of the project (RED) stuff. I got the phone and some other things. I really want the Ipod. That was all endorsed by Oprah and Bono. It also went for a good cause. One thing I know for sure I won't be buying is that wretched 'House of Dereon' stuff by Beyonce. UGH.

It depends, lots of times I see really cute stuff on celebrities, so I want it. But I wouldn't just buy something cuz my favorite celeb wore it.

I honestly don't let it influence me; if I like the piece, I like it because I like it ~ not because a celebrity is hawking it.
Doesn't work too well in reverse though -- if I really despise a celebrity then it does make me think twice about buying something in their "line"!

I am not sold on celeb endorsements, but I do like stuff like Stella McCartney for Adidas, or Alexander McQueen for Puma. I like it more because it is edgy and different from everything else out there. I love Angelina Jolie, but I'm not buying St. John garb until I turn 50!

totally agree with some of the other people like whip... i wear celeb things if i like them- and i have to admit it does SOMETIMES draw a little extra attention to ones that are, but I don't buy them just because I like the celebrity

Endorsed by celebs? No. I'm more likely to buy something I've seen on a celeb, but not so much endorsing it.

When celeb's start endorsing clothes that fit the average woman, Then I might think about it.
Utill then I'll stick to Fashion bug and Torrid.

I am her sister though since I was adopted but hidden for nothing of a talent. I was with her during the time she went on tour called glitter. meanwhile I do have her clothes too. I have her stuff as well. perfume, bodywear, Hairstyles, same pets as hers and especially her designed rooms. same house and shoes and purses. I do have a guy but hes unknown. as for me she always called me her baby sister. I am with her still forever and when I go on her tour but now she's headed to a wrong way. Mariah became my best friend and sister forever. even though I am not here. Mariah my sister, you are my best of everything I really wish I was singing with you right now and forever!
