It was just a run of the mill gossip week until the very last moment and then, BAM, out of literally nowhere (right in the midst of wondering whether or not Britney had embarked on a vision quest in search of more rhinestoned men's accessories, as we hadn't seen her in a couple of days), the gal checks into rehab! Yay for healthy decisions! Moments later we learned that she immediately checked out of rehab! Boo for playing with our supportive well wishing emotions! Aaaand we're spent, but before that rollercoaster there was all of this:
- Leading up to um, that tour of a rehab facility, Britney's ex man proved himself to be a d-bag while she just couldn't make a decision about what she wanted to wear in the club.
- In a shocking turn of events, Lohan continued her streak of acting, and looking like a responsible young lady. So she was set free from rehab.
- Jessica and John kept it mellow in the midwest, but they weren't the only celebs spotted by you all.
- Love really was in the air, wasn't it?
- American Idol narrowed down to 24. We told you our picks, now fill out a ballot and tell us yours.
- Some celebs premiered some movies. It was thrilling. We swear.
- Remember the Grammys? Yeah, they were this week, too.
- Miss the funniest moments on TV this week? Well it's lucky you've got us, now, isn't it?
- And now...it's onward and OSCARward!!

It's about time Britney entered rehab. She looks like $hit.
1Only Britney would enter and leave rehab in less than 24-hours. And the Grammys were last Sunday? Seriously? Haha, time flies!

18Why does everyone expect her mom to come save her? Britney insisted she was a grown up and able to make her own choices years ago, when she married two guys in the same year, popped out babies and invited Matt Lauer over. Her mom still has a daughter at home to finish raising so she can't run off and babysit Britney, and Brit doesn't want to be around her family. She didn't even go when her aunt was dying and only spent a couple of days in Louisianna for the funeral, before jetting off to Vegas and New York to party.
Obviously she's having some sort of a long, drawn out, and very public breakdown that probably rivals Mariah's and a comeback is probably the least of her concerns right now.

Uh, sorry, I was so taken by the news, I didn't read previous posts. Duh.
Anyway, brit doesn't need rehab. she just needs to realize she got what she wanted & now she has to take her life & her children seriously. she is a spoiled brat who didn't listen to anyone (don't marry kevin, don't rush into kids...). She is in a position to enjoy life, have some help & give her kids a great place to grow. I think she is a complete idiot not to see this.
28Also her mom is probably afraid of doing too much that might then also be used against her daughter... its not like a crack problem that you can do an intervention or maybe they have already tried that and she just said f*ck y'all I will cut off the money if you try to force me to do anything.
Its not postpardum either... it is just that she has totally lost touch with reality. She is living in a fantasy world where she thinks everyone still loves her, desires her and wants to be her.. and that all of her ideas are cutting edge and enviable and she can't figure out why everyone is slamming her for them.. and since she has cut all of the loyal people out and surrounded herself with yes Brit people..she has no touchstone. And no one seems to have the balls to confront her.. not her lawyers.. well thats all that is left since she fired her long time personal assistant and her publisits and her stylists and her manager. and lawyers just want to get paid and they will no matter what she does.
