Sources say that Britney Spears has re-entered rehab today. We're not getting our hopes too high, however, because we all know what happened the last time we heard reports that she was checking in to get some help. Once again, we sincerely hope this one sticks, because if Friday's drastic measures and these past few days have taught us anything, it's that Brit's one lost girl who could use a little time out of the spotlight. We will keep you updated as the story progresses, but hopefully this will help Britney finally get her life back on track.
Update: Britney's rep has released this statement: "Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today. We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."

I honestly don't think Britney would take rehab seriously right now, clearly she doesn't seem to think she needs it, she'd probably just go to appease her parents/friends/publicist etc. I don't think she's hit rock bottmom yet, at least not in HER mind!!!

27I really hope this is true. No, I do not personally know her, no, my life would not change without her, but just as a human being to another.
28I think she will get it together eventually if she sticks with treatment, but her career is never going to be anything near what it was.
29someone mentioned that Mariah fell from grace and came back, but the difference is Mariah has A LOT more RAW talent in her left pinky then Brit has- period.Brit has always been a smoke and mirrors type of thing.
If she's there, it's the first step to end the craziness for her...turning herself over to the care of a higher power and accepting the help that is meant for her (well actually thats more like steps 2 and 3 of the 12. lol) I sincerely hope she is there! Let me guess she will go in and come out and everyone will think that she is recovered and blah blah blah. I think I have seen it before with many other celebs. Oh well, I hope that she finds then help she needs and maybe leaves the industry because I think she LOVES this attention and will eat it up even more when she is out of rehab.

37This is my first Brit post since her divorce. I just want to say GOOD LUCK to her. Being a recovered former addict myself, I know it can be done. You have to really want it Brit! You can do it!

I don't know that I trust her mom with the kids. I mean, look how Britney turned out! Are you sure you want that woman parenting more children? Yikes!

43Good for her, glad it's confirmed....I can even understand why she came home first...that's what I thought when she shaved her head, that she knew she was going away for awhile and it just sort of a way to let out the anxiety she was going through. She also probably wanted to be near her kids, and tie up her loose ends (or cut them off) before she left.

46You have a good point Una. The kids do have a father every kid has a right to be with thier dad. I'm positive he will do a much better job than crackhead Brit! I think Brit has a much better chance since this is an inpatient facility.... but with her who knows!!!
47Well Lynn learned her lesson with Brit I think and has been doing a much better job with Jamie.. so i think the grandma can be trusted with Tater tot and Little Fritter.. at least she is a family member versus nany of the week.

48i'd like to throw out a theory that i heard a radio dj talking about the other morning about why brit shaved her head - so apparently in rehab they not only test urine and blood for drug use, but they can also test hair follicles which are like a timeline for when and how much drugs a person has used. if brit is in a paternity battle she may have not known about the hair test and that's why she left rehab only after a day and went home and shaved her head (and got the tattoos to make everyone think she was going on a wild binge or something). if she realized she had to chose between keeping her boys or keeping her hair, maybe she chose to forgo the latter! just a theory, but very interesting to say the least!
49I wish her the best....I truly think that she is depressed...as a parent I could not make excuses for her wacky behavior. I just hope that she is finally getting the help that she desperately needs.
