We haven't seen Drew for a while, but we are always psyched when she comes out of hiding. She was in Vegas on Thursday at the World Series of Poker to promote her fall movie, Lucky You. The movie is set at the 2003 World Series of Poker, and she said she missed out on lessons from the pros, but would love to now pick up tips from the experts. Here's more from Drew:
"Now that I don't have to stay true to the movie for my character, I'm planning to pick up as many tips as I can from the experts so I can go home and kick my friends' butts," the 31-year-old actress said.
Barrymore said she holds regular $20 or $100 buy-in home games with friends and members of her boyfriend Fabrizio Moretti's band, The Strokes.
But she doesn't plan to follow actress Jennifer Tilly into playing poker for a living.
"I really couldn't do that. I made a $200 bet the other night (on blackjack) and I was like thinking it was the craziest thing on the planet," she said.
Lucky You will be in theaters September 8th. We can't wait to see this cute girl again. Lots more pictures from the press conference so read more

12I've always loved Drew, but I can't honestly say she's a great actress. She's only good when she's playing very Drewish parts, like in Fever Pitch, Never Been Kissed, The Wedding Singer, or Ever After. She's the worst part of Donnie Darko, which is one of my favorite movies EVER. I commend her for making the film (it was produced by her production company, Flower Films), but did she have to go stink it up like she did? I also hated her in Confessions of A Dangerous Mind and Riding In Cars With Boys. I actually shudder at her performance in the latter film.

23Drew is one of the few Hollywood actresses I'd want to hang out with for a night. She just seems like someone who would play a prank like ringing Stephen Spielberg's doorbell and then hiding or some cheesy fun like that. Also she's well known around Hollywood and could probably introduce you to lots of people. I also like the fact that she laughs at herself. She just seems really cool.
