As we told you earlier, Britney's second stint in rehab was about the same length as her first -- under 24 hours. Since she left Promises early this morning, it seems like the entire city's worth of paparazzi are on the hunt for the star. After only a few MIA hours, Britney was spotted entering the office of Blair Berk, a civil defense lawyer who has boasted a roster of celebrity clients like Lindsay Lohan and Halle Berry. Interestingly enough, Berk also worked with Reese Witherspoon on her suit against some paparazzi, so if Britney wanted to visit the lawyer for similar reasons, she certainly brought her case along with, or behind, her. Judging from one first-hand bystander account, the swarm of photographers surrounding Brit is more aggressive and intense than ever.
Poor Britney looks and sounds like she is increasingly lost and confused every day. It seems that she is not ready to ask for help, even if those who love and care for her most would love for her to seek it. Once again, we hope for the best and that she can find the guidance that she needs before this gets any more out of control.

11Thats just horrible. I can imagine the main reasons shes checked out of both rehabs is that as soon as shes checked into both the ENTIRE world knew. How can you focus on getting well when the press wont leave you alone long enough to do so. I mean while shes in there shes gotta worry about how much is going to make public privacy agreements or not it all goes pblic with her. Yea its the life shes choosesn but its still sad. TMZ says Kevin filed for an emergency hearing tomorrow on the child custody issue. If true, it's hard to imagine a judge not granting that, at least on a temporary basis, under the circumstances.

Secondly, give the kids to K. Fed. He'd probably pass them along to Shar Jackson and she seems like a good mom to those two kids of hers. Anything would be better for them than getting passed from nanny to nanny.

I feel bad for her because she obviously needs help, and I wouldn't even jump on the "she's a celebrity, she knows paparazzi come with the deal" bandwagon, but this is Britney. She always has been and always will be an attention wh*re. She may very well want the paps to stop following her around so much, but sick or not, if her name was out of the news for more than a day or two, I guarantee you she would flip the fluck out. She needs to be left alone, but she doesn't really want it. If she did, she or somebody close to her could find a way. These people have all the money in the world, and they can certainly disappear if they truly wanted to.

44The paparazzi activity around her is at a frenzied high right now because she's doing so much freaky stuff every day. All in one day she flew from Miami, shaved her head, and visited the hospital. It probably takes three shifts of photographers, around the clock, to keep up with her. There's no telling what the heck she'll do next, so they are on hand to make sure it's documented.
Attempted suicide reports are not hard to believe if you piece together all the other stuff, like the Mondrian Hotel not wanting her to stay there because they were afraid of what she would do when she showed up all crazy there last weekend. She checked into the Hotel Bel Air today, but the staff already told her she's only welcome for one night. She owns two mansions in the area, but has an aversion to staying in them.

49I love what I see in the mirror, thanks. I'm a social worker and I love my job. I work with abused women and children all day and I am so emotionally spent by the end of the day that it is fun for me to go on "Pop" and just not think! If you think that that is equally as "pathetic" as being a Pap whose parasitic existence is fueled by preying on the talents of other people they could never be, then your judgement is seriously imparired! I have expressed how I feel about certain Pap shots in other posts. If you want to waste your breath defending the poor paps who don't get paid, why don't you do something truely charitable and go volunteer - then you can cry your eyes out about the poor unpaid paps.
