Nick Lachey was not in the mood for photographers while leaving Vanessa's place in NYC on Friday. Apparently Nick got a little rough with some college student who was trying to take his picture with a camera phone while in the elevator together. Page Six reports:
Younes Renak, 18, an Upper East Side native home for the summer from Penn State, claims Lachey roughed him after he tried to snap a cellphone picture of the pretty-boy singer around 2 a.m. Renak says Lachey went bonkers and began pushing him around inside an elevator at the fashionable Rivergate apartment building on East 34th Street where Lachey's TV hottie girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo, lives. "It was a cellphone [camera], it wasn't a paparazzi kind of thing," Renak's lawyer, Saul Bienenfeld, told The Post's David K. Li. "We're talking about an 18-year-old kid taking in life in the big city." He said Renak might sue. But reps for the ex-Mr. Jessica Simpson say Renak started pestering Lachey at a drugstore and then followed him into the building and the elevator. "We believe it was a lot more than a young man trying to take a picture," said Lachey's lawyer. Mitch Schuster. His publicist, Ken Sunshine raged, "This harassment with camera phones - it's just out of control." Renak says he still has his cellphone and pictures of Nick, although he declined to share them with us.
The picture of Nick shows him heading to Vanessa's apartment. Apparently Nick has been using the back entrance for Vanessa's building since the doormen were fans of her ex-boyfriend, New York Yankee Derek Jeter.

14alot of pics from camera phones have been sold to pap's ie the prince harry nazi halloween costume pic was sold and taken from a camera phone so i see why nick is jumpy. but he overreacted, he is divorced and who cares where he was that early in the morning...unless he feels bad on his "walk of shame"

16first of all, isnt is hard to just walk into an uptown apt. building just like that? How did he get in? Secondly, I do not blame Nick, it was after 2a.m. in the morning, it was completely inapropriate for that guy to do this. A fan should also ask if it is ok to take a pic. That was just effin' rude of the 18 year old, if you ask me, and I would be annoyed.
17Camera phones are bad news in general. It's too easy to disguise what you're really doing. Imagine kids in locker rooms taking pictures of their naked school mates and putting them on the Internet.

I think she is cute, not really sexy or anything. She isn't hideous looking, that's for sure! I think she is tons more natural looking then the plastic piece he was married to before.
I didn't really care too much for Kim K. that he was with before either. Her face looked weird, something about her, I can't pin point what it is. Actually, ever since I saw her hanging out with Parasite I see her as nothing but ugly, she defintly won't be able to redeem herself there!
As for Vanessa, she is starting to get on my nerves, maybe it is just me. I guess we went from never hearing anything about her to having her face all over the front of magazines, etc. Hopefully it just isn't a publicity stunt for her.
20yea i wonder what exactly they mean by "roughing up" i doubt nick would use physical force on someone, not like he isn't justified! People need to respect other peoples personal space!

25If the kid is an "upper east side native", then he is certainly not "taking in life in the big city" like some out of towner. I would like to call BS on most of the story. I have a feeling the kid never asked to take Nick's picture and funny how it happened in the elevator where no one else could see it and then he declined to show the pictures to anyone. It just rings false, like there's a lot more to the story. I wonder if there is a security camera in that elevator.

27Pretty much all of them do, sanantonio. Heck, even MY building has one and it's not that swanky a building - just a loft building with an old freight elevator. That's why I'm questioning this until I see some proof.

32It does seem like a bit of a strange story. The guy lives there but they try to say he's an innocent tourist. The guy refuses to show the pictures he took. Weird story.
