OMG, I am in love with Eva Longoria Parker's new puppy! Ugh, I just want to smash his little black puggy face. The Desperate Housewife stopped off at a pet store in LA on Monday and it looks like her fluffy white Jinxy helped make the wise choice when the pug puppy wouldn't leave her alone (yeah, I'm a little biased — what can I say, I love my doggie). She may not be having babies quite yet — since she's reminded us often enough that she's not pregnant — but I hope she's ready to have her hands full with that little ball of personality.

Lots more of Eva and her adorable pug so just read more

thats sad the dog looks cuter than her
1C'mon celebs! Be an example....get your dog from a shelter!
2cute puggy
have that same shirt.
3two things:
1- this makes me want to go home and hug my shih-poo puppy
2- why does she have to be having babies? she just got married last year. it's up to her, her husband, and mother nature. she seems content with the pup, let's leave it at that.
4Awww that puppy is so cute and tiny
5i saw this last night on the insider or ET or something and the puppy is soo cute. don't you just love seeing celebs with their little itty bitty puppies?
6Hey Eva, why don't you not get a dog and spend some time loving your husband... just a thought.
7you want to 'smash his little face?' You mean smush hopefully?
8justingirl who makes that shirt? it's really cute!
9hey jh..i dont know but i got it from forever 21
10She's annoying and doesn't seem genuine. When I see someone like her get a puppy it feels like they do it for the attention they are going to get because they have a cute dog.
11hahaha ashley, i thought the same thing. hopefully nobody around here wants to smash a puppy's face!
12brian brian she does he is not a media wh*re and he lives in san antonio, paps will not follow them over here, not even when big names come over here do you hear about it, anywway love tony
13"I just want to smash his little black puggy face" Wow, a little harsh...you should probably rework that sentence.
14
she's annoying
15So cute! The puppy not her!
Why do you want to smash the poor puppy Molly?
16LOL @ the smash comments... I'm sure it was a misspelling, right? *worried*
17pink, I was jokin'
18What a cute pup
19Cute puppy! I want one.
20Yeah, I gotta go with everyone else here, and hope to heck you meant "SMUSH" his little face, otherwise that's a little demented.
I wish though that these celebs would go to shelters to get their animals. There are SO MANY unwanted dogs and cats that would make great pets it's just a shame to only buy from pet stores. (Paris Hilton I'm looking at YOU!)
21its ok brian
22I hate pet stores. There is this pet store near us Debbie's Deathland i mean Petland where half of the dogs they sell there end up at the vets office that my SIL works at and she said they are all so sick and one of the pet homeowners was there an hour after buying the dog, it was having seizures and there was nothing they could do for the poor little puupy, it was going to die.
sometimes i will stop in just to look at the puppies while i am at the mall but i get so upset i have to leave or else i will probably open all the cages and set them free.
23Hey guys - I did mean to write smash, but totally in the most loving way ever, seriously! I would never ever harm a puppy, it's my little term of affection. Sorry if it came off in the wrong way at all!
24What a cute little guy! I love that she took her puppy with her to see how they would get along.
25omg, jealous....i want a pug!! the fiance says we can get one when we get a house!
26My hubby and I have a pug, and he was adorable as a puppy, before all his allergies and the aging happend
But we still love him. Pug's are one of the cutest puppies ever. I knew what you meant Molly, you just want to go nose to nose with them and smash your face to his,
obviously not in a harsh way. A lot of people get dogs as a first step before preparing for children. He is very cute, congrats Eva.
27Ugh I just want to smash her little rat face for buying a puppy from a pet store. Way to support puppy mills.
28Oh, I am officially an Eva Longoria "fan." Can't help it. Pug owners stick together.
29Store pups need a home too.
30i have pugs and they are amazing pets, but there are plenty of pugs at rescue organizations that need homes. Puppy mills will always be a problem, till people stop buying pets from pet stores.
31i really can't stand her but that puppy is adorable. and i want that shirt
32She's looking older than I remember. Maybe it's the fact that she is getting older
33I AGREE hmweis1!!! Thats the only reason I clicked on this story - to say that!
34WHO MAKES HER TOP IT'S SO CUTE!!!!!
35I hate her but I have to say she looks much better with some weight on her. She actually has a butt now.
36I'm with you guys- I am so sick of celebs and their pet store pups. Even worse when some (many!) people see a picture like this, they will run to a pet store to get their own. Of course pet stores are more expensive than reputable breeders and very often their puppies are in extremely poor health. My opinion- if at all possible go to a shelter. If you must have a pure bred puppy, find a reputable breeder, see the facilities and the parents, talk to the breeder, etc.
37All pups need a caring home, no matter where you get them from.
38lol. I knew Molly meant it in an endearing way but it's funny reading it aloud.
39Aw I agree pitip all that matters after you buy it is that you give it a good and loving home
40beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
41she is BRUTAL looking without a tub of makeup, really, looks like a man
42yes, all pups need a caring home. But when you purchase from a pet shop, you are supporting puppy mills and the terrible conditions that the dogs live under there. You are also supporting irresponsible breeding practices that results in unhealthy animals. These dogs are far more likely to face health problems for the duration of their lives. And when those health problems get to be too expensive for the family that purchased from the pet shop, guess where the dog will end up - at a shelter, rescue or euthanized.
43Bottom line is - if there were no market demand for poorly-bred pet shop dogs, there would be no puppy mills.
That puppy is too cute, I love it!!!
44yeah the pup is cute, but cmon people.. get a dog from a shelter/pound be a goddamn example. so many animals are abandoned, and most times end up dying and these people keep buying the from pet stores ugh.
45Okay, of course we all like puppies - they are adorable. However, it DOES matter where the dog comes from. Almost all dogs sold in pet stores come from puppy mills - cruel mass breeding operations that keep dogs confined for years in horrible conditions. If you really love dogs, you won't buy one from a pet store!!! The puppies you see in the mall may be cute, but you have to think of their parents - the behind-the-scenes breeder dogs that spend the majority of their lives in cramped, filthy cages being bred over and over and over...
I work at an animal shelter and I can tell you that we have ALL KINDS OF DOGS! Puppies, purebreds, little ones, big ones, you name it. Celebrities who buy dogs at pet stores are setting an awful example. When we see them buying a puppy, it's all too easy to forget about all of the wonderful rescue dogs (puppies included) that are out there waiting for homes.
46Too cute! I just got a puggle a few weeks ago, and she's adorable!
47I get where everyone is coming from with regards to wanting Celebs to get their pets from a shelter or whatnot. I agree with that statement (somewhat) in that I totally support when people purchase a pup from a reputable breeder. Sometimes shelters do not have what we are looking for (and the same goes for breed rescue) - and its okay to want what we want. The pet is going to be a member of the family for a very long time. Its okay to be choosy. Im all about people adopting as well. Its a personal choice people!!
Adoption isnt for everyone.
But Damn @ all the Judgey McJudgerson comments. LOL
48AMEN Leftcoast! You said that very well. A bigger deal needs to be made about Puppy Mills. I don't think most people really realize the absolute HORRORS puppy mill dogs go through. And it's generally not the puppies that endure the abuse, it's the adult dogs. They are bred over and over and over. They no sooner give birth than they are impregnated again. Some puppies even that are deemed "imperfect" are then turned into "breeder" animals. They're sick places and if you look at the statistics, 83% of ALL PET STORES get their dogs from puppy mills. If people LIKE CELEBRITIES would quit buying their animals from these places, these practices would stop.
49What a cute puppy
