ugh, I hope not. The world does not need another Britney --- and I'm not trashing the girl when I say that. I'm talking about the money-hungry music/business/media executives that will stop at nothing to make people stars, and then tear then down in an instant. I don't think Britney could handle it at 17 so I doubt that Miley could handle it at 15.

But, I think there's already lots of signs that point to it being a possibility. I mean, remember what she wore to the Grammys? And she's starting to look so different ... I think the industry is already affecting her.

I think she wishes that she could be as popular as Britney was when she came out... actually I think everyone does... I know Tiabia does... haha I'm playing, I'm playing.

She's on Disney! She's great! Also she's Billy Ray Cirrus' daughter. She plays Hanna Montana and she sells out concerts in less than 10 minutes in major cities.

At 15 she's changing her name, her hair color, and showing up at events dressed like a 25 year old call girl... so yea, she's well on her way to trying to be the next Britney. Since she's already selling out shows and has a hit tv series, she might even be bigger than Britney.

Her mom seems more like Lohan's mom, so I don't see her putting on the brakes or trying to make sure her kids gets an education anytime soon.

other - she is a rising pop star and I think she has a chance but she also had a stable family that will help guide her through her opportunity

i feel there's line between being friendly to paparazzi and loving the whole fame thing a lil tooo much.. something about her wanting to smile every single time a camera is around - brings me back to the beginning of lindsey and paris - whoring themselves to the paps. she's too young to go that route but it doesn't help if your mom wants to be posing with you though..
and btw isn't it crazy that the paps are going after miley now - south park just did an episode like this - where their next target after britney was miley.

She has a rich dad, is alright looking and cant sing phenomenally, so i say no. Shes obviously an insecure girl with all of her hair changing and make-up wearing, and a little obnoxious.

I chose other because I think she will be able to achieve the same level of fame Britney has achieved, but I think (and hope) she won't act like Britney. Also, I think Britney's recent actions are due to a lot more than paparazzi/fame. I honestly believe she has a psychological condition that has affected her actions. I remember reading an article a while ago (in People, I believe) right when Miley was first becoming popular. At the time, her parents were still pretty strict with her; they emphasized the importance of her having time with her tutors; they gave her an "allowance" and put the rest of her money in savings. It seems like Miley has a great support system that will help keep her from going down the same path as Britney.

I voted NO. Miley is not famous worldwide, she is only famous in America and Canada. I only know who she is because I read American sites like this one! Britney released her 1st single in 1999 and it was a worldwide smash hit, then her album was released, and she was huge all over the world.

I think Miley is over-exposed! She is just another over-rated Disney star, I have watched videos of her on you tube. She can't sing very well or act very well!! She is definitely over-hyped over in America! Her name is annoying too, she should have changed it to something else, not Miley!

I definitely think that teenage american stars grow up too fast. They are built up by the media, chased by the paps, they get too big headed too young. Miley will end up like Lindsay, Britney etc.

With a billion dollars in the bank, there isn't much motivation to get a college education. The Olsen twins seem to have dropped out.

Too bad more young celebs don't follow in the steps of Jodie Foster and others who took off time for a good education. The career and money was still there when they came back.
