With his newsboy cap on his head, a smile on his face, and Renée on his arm, George Clooney headed to Salisbury North Carolina yesterday for another stop on his Leatherheads promotional tour. Both he and Renée were nice enough to greet and sign autographs for their many adoring fans, who started lining up as early as 5:30 a.m. to catch a glimpse of the stars. They both gushed about how much they loved spending time down south shooting the movie.
George called the Carolinas "the perfect place to shoot," while Renée said, "It was like living in a community -- it was like living in a small town for four months. I loved it." We're already loving that George and Renée are hitting up all the small towns to talk about their movie, so now we'll just have to wait and see if the film is as cute as its promotion.

10George looks so happy in these pictures! What happed to Renee? She just to be so beautiful! I think that rapid weight gain & weight loss for her movies affected her health. Nonetheless, she is one of Hollywoods' finest actresses!!
11well i'm certainly happy that they are able to relate to the smaller town USA folk. i think that it's nice that the promotional tour isn't going to the usual cities only and that they are remembering that regular people would like to get a glimpse of celebrity.
12I saw a lot of this on the news last night b/c I'm in Charlotte which is right next to Salisbury. He of course was completely joking around with everyone at the press conference too. He looks so cute in that hat! They said he had most of the questions but Renee was a good sport.
