David Beckham took the field with England in Paris today, and it was a huge game for Becks even though his team lost the friendly match. David earned his 100th cap while his whole family cheered him on from the stands. Always trying to make a fashion statement, he even put on a pair of fancy gold cleats for the occasion. Unfortunately Becks got a little too heated and was given a yellow card during the first half, but at the end of the day he should be feeling nothing but pride for his huge feat.

4i'm so confused as to how he's always playing for england - but i guess it's like the olympics philosophy huh? you can play for your national team whenever? i like him though - and to see him get upset during a game just shows his passion.
5Ilanac playing for your national team is a greater honour and international games are usually timed to coincide with a break in league games so that players can be called up to play these friendlies. rosa England is having a mahor slump at the moment only time will tell if Capello can bring them back
