Madonna did her usual post-workout walk all the way home (more like down the street) to her home in London. The singer is starting her Hard Candy promo tour and it included a radio interview the other day where she dishes on the title of her album, the infamous B12 shot with JT, and what kind of music her kids listen to. Madonna said Lourdes loves Britney and then they spoke about how the paparazzi is making life difficult for Brit. Madonna even declared to the host, "Let's go save her." You got to love that she clearly still cares about the younger pop star. You can listen to the whole interview here and expect a lot more from Madonna this month and this summer when she said she'd be living in NYC.

I liked "Hard Candy: when it was an album by Counting Crows. As for "let's go save" Britney... her family is doing that.
1Her arms are gross! So she's sort of using her daughter to "save Britney"? If Britney couldn't get her life together with two children of her own what makes Madonna think that Lourdes can save Britney?
2Madonna needs a new hairstylist. Look at those roots! I'd be mortified.
3she is gross!
if anyone is going be saved its HER(MADONNA)
4Madonna only had good music in the 80's, everything after that is sh*t. She should have given up forever ago.
5I find her quite gross as well.
6'You gotta love that she cares about Britney'??? She's clearly just using Britney's name and bringing her up because b*tch has albums to sell. She didn't have sh*t to say when Britney was running the streets!
7Madonna is a very sarcastic and so to a certain extent "lets save Britney" is so typical Madonna. Hopefully Lourdes grows out of her Britney phase and mommy actually Tell's her daughter that yes The Paps were driving her crazy but she's also insane.
8I have no doubt that the Counting Crows is better than the Madonna album. Couldn't she find a name more original?
9Funny how she has an album coming out and decides that now is the time to talk about Britney again. Hm.
10No one can save Britney, least of all, this hag.
11She could care less about Britney.
12Gosh, I guess I'm in the minority of still liking the old broad.
13Team Madge!!!!
madonna
14Madonna is and will always be my Star F*cker!
15I remember asking Madonna about what she thought of Britney's behavior and Madonna said that she barely knew her. She acted like Britney was poison that she wanted to avoid and now she just wants to save her. Madonna just wants publicity. Where was she when Britney really needed saving? Britney doesn't need her now.
16I'm sorry, but how are her arms gross? She is buff! Also, people, lay off - she is just out of the gym! How many of you look awesome right after a tough workout? (and I'm pretty sure hers are harder than most!)
Also, Madonna reached her artistic peak well after the 80s, after she did Evita and had Lourdes, where she developed both as performer and as writer.
I'm not so into her last couple of albums but let's not get carried away, she might have a hard time letting go but she WAS really big, it's not like she was a nobody.
17I agree, she's looking pretty good for how old she is. Id workout with her any day. Her workouts would kick my butt though. Oh, and her husband is hot, just thought id throw that out there.
Oh, and seriously. No one can save Britney but herself. You can't help people unless they want help. Why don't people get that?
18I doubt that Madonna really meant it when she said "Let's save Britney". Probably she just is just showing her support to a fellow celeb.
19She's turning 50 this year in August. But gosh, I'd LOVE to look buff like her when I turn 50
She's fit and I love that about her.
And she was a pioneer of some sort in the 80s.
I'll always like Madonna although I haven't been listening to her music in a LONG time.
20"Madonna is and will always be my Star F*cker!"
You could never know the irony of that statement.
21I like the Counting Crows Hard Candy
It seems like ages ago that Madonna and Britney were working together.
22i can´t help loving both ^^
23I'm sorry but I think she is part of the problem. Once Brit started hanging around Madonna is when things started going downhill. I think she forgot who she was, forgot what she believed in and just believed whatever Madonna told her to.
24omg - i wish that i had madonna's body - she's in the best shape ever. as for saying that they should go save britney - i think that's not such a bad idea. i like that all these older celebs are sticking up for her and the sort. they know that she's going to come back somehow..it's just a matter of how. and everyone can use a bit of help sometimes.
25Madonna was definetly kidding when she said she wanted to "save Her". I like madonna music. I don't know if i like her. She's so pushy and egotistical. I would hate to have her as a mother. She's very strict. But i guess that's what got her to where she is now. Love her music, i always did. I am sure this album will be great! The roots though, i agree got to go. Her hair is definetly showing her age lately...it looks all frizzy and WAY to bleached out. I would like to see her as a soft brunette again.
26I feel the same way I did a couple of days ago about the Madonna/ Britney thing.
27Every once in a while, I see a glimpse of something I like in Madonna.
Don't worry, I'm sure she'll do something to change that soon enough.
I actually admire her for her amazing business sense, and whether you like the woman or not, she would not still be making music if she wasn't able to market and sell herself successfully. I just hate it when she calls it "art". Her true art is in her marketing, not in her songs.
28STFU Vadge. You'll use anything and anyone to get some publicity. BritBrit doesn't need your help, old lady.
29LMAO @ Blob. "Vadge" That never ceases to crack me up.
But I WILL Say (browneyedchica) you can't BLAME Madonna for Brit going to hell. That was mental illness.
It is time for Madonna to hang up the breast cones and funky hair though, her time has come, gone and been buried.
30Madonna took to Brit when Brit was just coming out.. then after seeing Britney wear a Madonna shirt ON stage.. she did the same for her ON stage.. they had a friendship and honestly I did wonder where on earth that WENT. Madonna was quoted saying that she saw Britney as "a lost little girl little sheep that needs protection". Madonna would know about the Industry and what it can to to someones heart and mind.. now we see she was right. Brit fell into an abyss that we don't quite understand, and yes I do think she has some issues and only psychology and a commitment to trying to change how she sees things and maybe growing up a little is going to change that. Its up to Brit to change.. but Madonna stepping in is what I was waiting for, you don't claim friendship and then disappear. Personally if I were Brit I would know it would be VERY smart to listen to what a woman who has been successful and pretty sain in the pop world has to say about protecting/helping herself. As for her little one, guys lighten up, she is raising her daughter to be caring. I would say the same to my daughter if I were her.. I wouldnt say Ill go save her LoLz.. I'd say hey.. "lets". I think she meant all of us too.. like instead of saying that you feel bad, write Brit. Or instead of bashing her just be quiet for a year or so and come back to spam when Brit can laugh and take it. I don't know... I just think its sweet when anyone opens their heart.
