that poor woman is a captive in her own life. she can't even engage in the world around her by looking through car windows. they have to be curtained so we can't see in and they can't see out.

i do like her jeans. and i do think its weird she's chauffered around in a curtained car. i mean wasn't it just like 3 years ago she was all girl next door-engaged to that other dude- normal girl? and now she's in this crazy world

kiki, definitely suitable for Tiny Tom not Kat(i)e. There car has always freaked me out- it reminds me of a hearse. Well, I do hope Suri is a little rambunctious toddler running around their compound and not being 'audited' or something for inappropriate 'woman's' behavior.

I loved her haircut, but I'm not sure like how she's growing it out. I think she should keep it neat & bobbed like the original cut!

based on the cover story to one o the US weekly type mags - she's been a little under the weather lately - so that's why we haven't seen her lately. i think that it's good to see her out - although i miss seeing her working on her own...being it a movie or a show or something. i guess the 'KATIE HOLMES BY ARMANI' collection will be her new thing.

I found a pair like that but a little cuter at OLD NAVY...they have three types, with differnt waists...the cutest to me were the higest waist b/c I look like a total hippie...I'm wearing them today as a matter of fact ...they have them this season for a lot less than she paid....but on a sad note, she looks horribly frail and tired...she looks like she's loading herself into a hearse

wow, she looks rough. i do love the jeans too though. and i don't feel sorry for her either. she chose this life. she could have run screaming, but she didn't.

I think she looks great, she has really come into her own with fashion, can defin. see some of her influences that she has picked up along the way.

I don't put curtains in my cars because I don't get papped every time I go out. If I did, I might reconsider.

I think that all these stories about her being "miserable" are so hyped it's not even funny. I don't think the Man is as crazy as everyone thinks. Does he ACT crazy from time to time? Yes, he does. Does that mean he IS crazy? No, it means he loves life and reacts emotionally to everything.

Katie HAS been sick, and seeing that they can't use medicines and such, it probably takes them longer to recover because they do it the "scientology" way. Could be the same thing with Suri. Maybe she had the chicken pox (Since they don't vaccinate) or a wealth of other "normal" reasons that we haven't seen her.

I mean, many people think it's "normal" not to ever see K-Fed with his kids, so why can't it be "normal" that we don't see Suri?

I know they aren't---but the fabric of her jeans look so cheap. They look exaclty like the Maverick brand jeans from the 70's 80's era. I always hated that look.

Each time I see their car, I am suddenly scared. And for this reason I would never want to go in that type of car and be friend with Tom (he likes that type of car...shivers). CCCRRREEEEPPPPPYYYYY!!!!!

Niki, yes, it's kinda creepy, but also when you are a star of that magnitude, you have to have some privacy, and I'm sure that those curtains are their way of being able to maintain a little privacy.
