Madonna is loving her racy black outfits for photoshoots these days, and her cover for the green issue of Vanity Fair went right along with this trend. We're sure she had plenty to say about her new album and doing all she can for the environment, but yesterday morning she also talked about JT, Britney, and why she'll never sing "Like a Virgin" again. Here are highlights from an interview with New York's Z100-FM:
- On performing some of her classic hits: "I'm not sure I can sing 'Holiday' or 'Like A Virgin' ever again. I just can't – unless somebody paid me like $30 million or something. [Like if] some Russian guy wants me to come to the wedding he's going to have to a 17-year-old, you know it."
- On Britney's Blackout: "I actually love Britney Spears's new album ... I usually work out to her record. I do a combination of pilates and dance aerobics."
- On what her chances would be on American Idol: "I went to a lot of auditions for musical theater and conventional mainstream things – and I always got cut immediately. So I'm pretty sure the same thing would happen to me."

- On giving JT a booster shot: "First of all, I've seen enough butt ... The reason I gave him a B-12 [shot] is because we only had a certain amount of days in the studio and I didn't want him to use that as a lame-ass excuse not to come to work. Okay? It's got nothing to do with butt. I promise you. Listen, I don't need to give him a shot to see his butt. Duh."
Sounds like Madonna hasn't lost any of her confidence or spunk over the years. As for American Idol, we may never see her grace their stage, but maybe the top contestants will be performing some of her early hits she's put such a high price on. I'd listen to "Holiday" on repeat any day of the week!

So basically what she is saying is that her old songs, which made her what she is today, are crap and she will only sing them if the money is right, and she likes to work out to britneys music (probably because it motivates her to run...away) and she has seen alot of hineys...alot alot....tell us something we dont know.
I love her old music, i dont like the over pilatesized lycra madonna of now, i prefer slightly chubby lacey madonna who had an american accent.
11I wonder if things were not on the up and up with Britney, would she have said anything about her... I sorta doubt she would have said it back when Brit was being wheeled out of her house tied to a gurney. But it's pretty cool that she likes the album. Danja, the producer, did Britney's album and now he has done some tracks for her so it kinda makes sense.

I'm sure she would have said the same thing about Britney's album even before she started getting help and acting normal. Britney and her have a history - they might not be best buds now but Madonna always said she had respect for Britney, that's why they did a song together. How quickly people forget these things.

How can you be sure about it? I was more stating a rhetorical question. I think that everything that Madonna does has a purpose with a definite expected outcome. She might have mentioned it because of the Justin statement at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame or maybe she really does like it. I know that I love that album and workout to it. I'm just saying, when she has been asked about Britney during the whole breakdown thing, she never answered in a way that made me think she really cared about Brit Brit or even respected her. All I'm sayin'.

25I actually don't think it looks too photoshopped. I would have to see the actual cover though to be sure. I think her body is hers but they might have done some smoothing effects on her face.

28Hmcmcd, maybe it wasn't too photoshoped since we've been seeing Madonna lately and she clearly had some work done.
But I think that this photoshop craziness is so out of control (remember Reese Witherspoon looking like her own daughter on the cover of Beauty magazine?) that we see someone looking slightly natural on another cover and we think it may haven't been too photoshoped (when it actually have).

33My god, that body looks great.
34She looks good AIRBRUSHED. She does have a lean body but it dones't look this good in realuty. Her thighs are not as smooth and filled out as this photo shows.
I will give her kudos that she doesn't have the typical 50 yr olds body, but it's not as good as it shows here either.

My mom has a kick ass body for her age, too (she's married to a personal trainer) but I'd be mortified if she was always wearing leotards, not just the showing off of old legs thing but also, they're really goofy looking!
She chooses this type of outfit all the time, and I cant figure out why b/c she doesnt have that great of legs, she's kinda short and stumpy.
I think after a certain age, it doesnt matter how "great for your age" your body looks, you should cover it up for self-respect purposes, if not for yourself then for your children.

38I totally agree Eve, that there is too much photoshopping going on in general. I wish people could just look natural and it be beautiful, but there is always the push for perfection (whatever that is lol) I don't even know how many interviews I have seen with Keira Knightly and she is 100% honest that they ALWAYS photoshop boobs onto her and that they digitally enhance her in the movies. It is such a shame.
39Now I understand that Madonna wants to show off how great her body looks, but I think she could find other outfits and poses to do it in, when she models herself. Madonna's too old to be still spreading her legs in photos. Actually, Madonna should have never been spreading her legs at all. Tacky.
