I would normally badly judge Lindsay for her fashion choice but I must say this look is pretty cute finally! Either the leggings are growing on me or else this particular match is just nice... whatever it is, I think she finally looks healthy and stable. Good for her!

she's always making interesting movie choices and she wonders why they dont' always do well. oh well..it's her career i suppose. she'll never be taken seriously if she's not in a good movie at least once. there's a lot of talk around chapter 27 though since jared gained so much weight for the role...so we'll have to see - but the Manson Girls? really?

Nancy Pitman was basically Mansons lap dog, she wasnt one of the group that killed sharon tate or the LaBiancas, however its said she went to the crime scenes and tampered with evidence, and she was one of the chicks outside the courtrooms singing and handing out placards. After the trial and conviction she joined the aryan brotherhood, and was convicted of accsesory after the fact of two murders that occured while living in a group house. she served 18 months.

I don't think we really need another movie about Manson and his looney followers. However, I do see Lindsay fitting in quite nicely in her role as one of the looney followers.

I actually like this outfit for Linds. It makes her leggings look less trashy and streamline than what she has paired them with before.

I honestly think that this movie sounds semi-intertesting. And I do agree with others that this can be good or bad, depending on how the roles are played!

If she hasn't quit smoking, why is she whoring out Ariva? She's giving the company a bad name.

I'll watch the Manson girls, but I'm obsessed with Serial Killer stores from a forensic point of view. There is SO MUCH we don't know about the "Why" of it all. I personally catch all the Ted Bundy, Gary Ridgeway, son of sam and Manson stuff on TV. I've read all of Ann Rule's books too. Just call me a sick-o.

My husband always asks me why i am into the Macabre so much, and my answer is that i am obsessed with the process by which the police catch these guys, and i am interested in the sociological aspect of why people become serial killers, and that I myself fear death so much, that i want to know all about it.

Caterpillar, I think I'm along the same lines with the "Why" of it. A LOT of serial Killers have come from Washington (Dubious Distinction) and when I was in College, my boyfriend worked with Wesley Alan Dodd. We used to go to company functions and he would be there. I could tell you things that guy said that would make your blood boil. Trust me when I say I watched the televised hanging of THAT one.

Also, My father was a cop. Never a detective but he assisted in a couple of pretty high profile cases, one of Which Ann Rule wrote a book about.

And as to the psychological "why's" I'm right there with ya.

I think she looks cute and the movie has potential, but it could go either way. I think it would be interesting to see a movie with the "girls" as the main characters (their motivations, etc.) and Manson as a secondary character. It would be interesting to look at the story in a different way/from a different perspective.

Samantha's sneakers were made specially for her cuz it says 'ronson' from the side, they may come out to stores but hers are more personalized i think.
