requirements to try out for I Wanna Be Paris Hilton's BFF are to be a “hot bitch” or "fabulously fierce guy" who is at least 21 and appears to be under 30. Whether or not you fit the bill, tell us — would you want to be Paris' BFF?

"The poor loser who won Paris Hilton's contest was spotted looking like crap, wearing crap... because she isn't rich. She can't get a job because prospective employers vaguely recognise her as 'that girl paris was fake friends with for PR purposes and a reality TV show' and don't want to possibly get attention drawn to her/the company or they have judged her before meeting her.
Therefore winning this would effectively ruin your life. Just like any sort of 'fame' where you don't turn out to be successful will.

Her self absorption makes me queasy. However, her "new BFF' would have an easier time of locking her in a closet somewhere and throwing away the key. Maybe this contest is a good thing.

43I don't care if she's fake or not. The objective of the show--and the producers are encouraging this objective-- is to receive the perks that comes from being friends with a celebrity. The show has nothing to do with friendship, only perks. Therefore her personality and her presumed fakeness has no relevance to this competition.
