Madonna is officially everywhere these days, so we're not surprised that she showed up on the cover of Elle UK. We do wish she'd change up her cover girl style to something a little different though. Of course, she still looks hot showing off her ridiculous body inside the magazine, and in the article she talks a little bit about maintaining herself and what her weaknesses are. Here are highlights:
- "There are no short cuts to being Madonna. It’s all about hard work. There is no easy way. If you want to know how I look like I do, it’s diet and exercise and constantly being careful."
- "One of the worst things about Britain is that it has such fabulous candy. I love Cadbury Fruit and Nut, Crunchies and Maltesers. But my absolute favourite is a Cadbury Creme Egg. I bite straight in to it and suck all that good stuff right out!"
It's hard to believe that Madonna indulges often (if at all), but it's a bit of a relief to see that she still treats herself every now and then, just like the rest of us.

2i love that there's so much promotion behind madonna right now since i can't wait for her album. it's gerat to know that seh does indulge from time to time, but i'm sure it doesn't matter much since she's always going to the gym. that's dedication. i think that i've modeled myself after her since she's really been able to maintain a GREAT body.
3I find no relief in the idea that Madonna is like the rest of us, and she probably doesn't either.
4You can get all of those candies in the states as well.

10Her dedication and hard work is an inspiration to me! Although I'll never have the trainer the chef the "skin care" specialist, she makes me want to work as hard as I can with the resources I do have to maintain a good body.

I have never liked Cadbury Eggs. They are just SOO sweet!

14The chocolate in Britain does taste better, and the Cadburys here just isn't the same. Sorry, she's right. The first time I went grocery shopping in the UK I was amazed at the amount of sweets they have on offer.
15I agree Brian, they are kind of like Peeps to me, they just are too much sugar. I can't stand the insides of a Cadburry Egg, the outside is just chocolate, so it's ok, but the inside is DIS.GUST.ING!

26Hmm, I don't know if Madonna necessarily has that great of a body, or at least, not one to emulate. I think she has become bit obsessed with working out and her diet. She doesn't look particularly healthy when you see her in candid photos. I keep wondering how much body fat she still has and whether she has dropped below healthy levels for a woman. I'm all for her working out and staying healthy but she seems to have taken it to an extreme lately.
