Isla Fisher and Hugh Dancy flashed some cash at a hot dog stand on the set of Confessions of a Shopaholic yesterday. As Isla continues to work hard and make friends in NYC — including an adorably embarrassing interaction with Matthew Broderick — her fiancé is busy making his new movie and settling issues with his old one. A judge dropped the lawsuit brought on by two Dartmouth students back in 2006 that were humiliated by their part in Borat. While we're sure Bruno will stir up his own trouble, at least the only controversy Isla's creating is with her on set wardrobe.

i love the book, but i dunno if i'm excited about the movie..
that outfit is sh*teous.
I need to comment on the clothes. I read all the books and loved them very much, and as much as Becky loved shopping, and had a clear problem, she never dressed like a fool. I feel like the stylist of this movie is trying to be too wacky, and that is not how Becky was at all. Does anyone agree? Or is it just me.
it hurts to look at that outfit.
hugh is cute.
yes the outfits are FUG and she's such a pretty girl! They are trying too hard to emulate SATC or Gossip Girl that it comes off as tacky.
she looks to dollish to me
isla must have such a great time with those clothes that she gets to wear. it has to be fun....i don't know - i would love it.
as for her man...he's always doing wacky things like borat and bruno...i'm glad that the judge tossed out the suit - you have to be careful about what you get involved in..and maybe those kids should have asked more questions before signing a release form.
Very ugly outfit.
another ugly as hell outfit
I think her outfits (more like costumes) are just too many colors at once. I wish Posh could help her out on that. I do love Hugh Dancy, however! Thankfully he's starting to appear in the daily pictures.
Hugh Dancy.....what a babe.
I don't know anything about this movie and never read the books but I might go see it just for Hugh Dancy! I didn't even know he was in this!
oh no is he suppose to be Luke Brandon? Not that he is not a fine actor, but he was just not what I had i mind at all! I finally got around to being somewhat ok with Isla Fischer as Becky...but he was just not the Luke Brandon I had in my head...! Oh well, can't win them all I guess
the clashing of her outfits is too much. every pic we see is worse. there is only one sex in the city! people need to remember that!
Bostonbean1987 - I agree
I think overall it's a cute outfit!! I don't know if it would look good on me but i think it's cute!! I saw them filming a couple weeks ago... i'm curious to see the movie!!
Love, love, love Hugh Dancy. Especially in The Jane Austen Book Club.
I'm with Bostonbean. I was looking forward to the movie, but each successive outfit makes me want to see it less and less.
yeah, becky didn't wear such wacky outfits in the book. she wasn't exactly the most stylish girl, but clothes weren't her problem. her finances were.
hugh dancy is DELICIOUS! but i think he's a mite too young to play luke, who has a pretty good job. but anyway, anyone think hugh can do better than claire danes? i honestly don't get what people men in that girl...
that's "what men see in that girl." i edited my post incorrectly...
I was going to say the same thing bostonbean
aw, that meeting with matthrew broderick had me laughing so hard but how embarrassing for both of them
so ugly outfits!!!
I had always pictured Becky, as more charolette, with a little carrie in her (as far as fashion sense)
I definitely agree that these outfits are seeming pretty over-the-top. I'm so excited, however, for the movie. I've read every book in the Shopaholic series and they are seriously laugh-out-loud funny. I hope the movie lives up to the book series!
Hugh Dancy is one hot piece of a$$. And Isla's little run in with MB...how embarrassing for both parties
This look is a lot less crazy than the pink tutu thing.
she's really cute and pretty!
yeah, but i dont really see her as becky. I've read the first three books and now I'm on Shopaholic and Sister. She does not wear outfits like these and she does not go to New York until the second book (Shopaholic takes Manhattan)
I"m praying the movie won't disappoint! Does anyone know who the stylist is for this?
