Drew's relaxing and nature-y birthday vacation in Hawaii may have ended, but that doesn't mean she's coming home empty handed. By that, I mean she's got her rumored new flame, director Spike Jonze, by her side in the airport on the way home. And now that we look back, he was certainly looking pretty close to Drew in the water the other day (good detective skills or why didn't we notice the first time? You decide). As I mentioned before, I'm all for this precious indie pairing and I expect to hear more of their hip music show outings soon.* After all, if Cameron's so happy to be third wheeling it, he's gotta be a pretty good guy for her girl Drew.

Sofia Coppola wrote a lot of the film based on her life. The character of John (Giovanni Ribisi) was loosely based on her husband Spike Jonze. Rumor has it that the Anna Faris' character, Kelly, was supposedly Cameron Diaz, with whom Spike Jonze worked with on Being John Malkovich (1999), though Coppola denied the connection in an Entertainment Weekly interview.

Drew's like 5'3", 5'4" tops and Spike's my height (5'7"), Cameron's really tall - like 5'9" or 5'10". So, from those heights, and that face, it's Spike.
6I always got confused about Spike Lee vs. Spike Jones and didn't realize they were two different people, lol. So I always thought Sofia Coppola used to be married to Spike Lee
