Okay seriously, how sweet was Simon last night? As Molly would say, "methinks" someone might be enjoying some time with his girlfriend these days. I have always been a fan of the man who tells it like it is but last night he was softer than ever before. Seriously, the man has been saved by a woman, winks at contestants and loves puppies. How can you not love this guy?
As for my actual thoughts of the show, Jared is cheesy and might be next to go but I think Nick and AJ were even more blah than Jared. Sanjaya's pathetic Michael Jackson look may send him away this week as well (besides the fact that he was terrible). The best of the night were Chris S. and Chris R. and Blake (even though he is turning into annoying boy band guy he's still entertaining). I agree with Pop...Simon was shockingly sweet last night...it was nice to watch...but when he said the "I love Puppies" and "I was saved by a woman too" I actually was like "what?????".
2Haha, if I like a certain singer, I'm usually pretty loyal and will stick to the show until the finals. However, I don't see this as a "reality" show--at least not anymore. The pimpage that certain contestants get over others is unreal.
I thought last night was good, but Jared and Sanjaya should be the ones to leave. I liked AJ for taking a chance on the Michael Bublé version of "Feeling Good", but I didn't like Nick's Bublé version of "Fever". Then again I just don't like him. Chris R. bugs the crap out of me too. I can't believe Simon called that the best of the night.

9I watched part of an AI Rewind of season one a few nights ago. I have only seen one episode of AI previously and it was the William Hung ep. So needless to say, I have absolutely no clue what happens on this show. Anyway, season one...NO ONE WAS GOOD. I was horrified that those people made it as far as they did the way they dressed and sounded. I can only guess that the next seasons followed suit.
10when he said 'i love puppies', he was making a point that the contestant they were talking to was trying to use his charm and cuteness to get votes.
11I cant get into it this season.....I am not feeling it. I'm also sick of hearing about that Antonella Barba chick and her scandalous pics!

(yes, i'm up on AI news, too, even though I never watch it.) she got kicked off for racy photos!! or was it b/c she was fat and anotella is still on b/c she gives the producers hard-ons? ridiculous.

15I thought Chris S was fantastic last night! I also liked Phil, the first guy to go!! I've been watching AI since the first season and have always been able to pick a fav right off the bat but for some reason am having a lot of trouble this year....especially when they have someone like Antonella on the show!
16simon really does love puppies. he gives a lot of money to animal shelters and animal charities. he can be as snarky as he wants, i still respect his honesty more than anyone else's sugar-coated opinions.
17Simon did seam a tad nicer last night. I like Chris R. , but iI thought he mumbled the words a little here and there. I'm not sure why, but he reminds me of KFed. I can't wait for the girls tonight. Given last week 4-5 rocked the house, they should blow us away tonight.

19LaLaLaurie.....I agree! She should go...and I know those BJ photos arent her...but the ones of her posing half naked on the WWII veterans monument are, and to me, that is tacky, and disrespectful. But, that's just me.
20Mariootsa is one hundred percent right. The comments about being saved by a woman and loving puppies were not at all about being sweet. They were ridiculing the singer for attempts to use sentimentality in irrevelence on stage to get votes. They were biting comments actually- smart and snarky but def. not sweet!

Is "methinks" a real word? I've never heard it before I started coming to this site and I've noticed that a lot of Brits use it. I was wondering if it's gramatically correct or just...cute? Can someone enlighten me?!
