Britney Spears started off her weekend showing off her cleaned up hair extensions after going to the salon, but unfortunately things took a slight turn for the worse after that. On Saturday night she caused a three car fender bender after rear ending another car on the 101 in LA. Luckily no on was injured in the crash and Brit passed a sobriety test, proving it was a total accident. After the commotion was over, she and Lynne headed to dinner at Dominick's (with a bodyguard driving), so hopefully, Britney wasn't too shaken up by the whole thing.
More of Britney leaving the salon and at the scene of the accident, so just read more

1is it wrong to say her hair looks good? she should keep her current hair stylist. she should also take driving lessons
2I wish she wouldn't bother with the hair extensions. It might be strange, but I thought she looked good with the shaved head. Not that I think she should shave it again, but why not just leave the natural hair and experiment with some short styles? It would have to look better than the extensions. I give them a week at the most before they start looking like a 15-year old kid on work experience did them.
She's so pretty, but her hair is distracting!
3Louie- I agree, her hair has to be at least to her chin. I bet she'd look cute. She must be hiding behind her hair.
4When wil this idiot realise she can't drive!!!!!!
5Her hair is looking better, I think she needs some waves though!
xoxo
6I'm glad she was sober, but honestly the poor girl has been in more accidents than all of us combined! And it sounds like she ran into somebody, can't blame this one on the Paparazzi...
7She has some kind of obsession with these extensions. It must be such a bother to sit in the salon for hours having them done. I thought the one picture where her hair was short was SO cute.
Also- at some point someone should make her go to some kind of driving school!?!
8I think she's paid for her license...
9I have bumped my car into more things than Britney I'm sure. I honestly dont think this is news.
Her hair does looks great! She looked beautiful in that floraly tattooy dress she wore to dinner with those red slingbacks.
10Her insurance must cost SO much haha!
11Now we see why some teenagers shouldn't drive...they can't handle the responsibility.
12the funny thing is that she was not cited but i can name a few things to cite her for, driving too closely, driver unattention, failure to control speed, thats just to name a few, but of course she is a celeb so lets have double standards
13The new extensions look better than the old ones.
Glad she was sober when she crashed but maybe she should look into driving lessons.
14Looks like she actually showered
15She may have not been drinking, but she just always looks heavily medicated to me. I can't remember, but have we seen her driving since her hospital visits? I can't recall every pic but this seems like it's one of the first times she's gotten behind the wheel and here comes the drama...
16The guy who she hit said that she was putting on makeup while driving.
This isn't even the first time she has hit someone in the last year. She is so irresponsible.
It boggles my mind how easily people are won over by fake hair. Character is so much more important to me.
17Jillness, she was putting on make-up? I don't believe it. Britney actually puts effort into her appearance?
No ways.
But seriously, if you need to do other things on the way to where you are going and someone else is in the car who is able to drive - why not let them drive and you do the things you need to do?
Of course she wasn't too shaken up by the whole thing. Why should she care? Obvs, rules don't apply to her.
18Hence why some teens shouldn't have a driver's license...they aren't ready. Britney Spears proves that with every accident she's antagonist of.
* Jillness and Woop prepare yourselves for an influx of women who will respond "I always put my makeup on in the car and have never been in an accident"...oh, it's coming!!!
19If I rear-ended someone, the cops would not be called. I'd leave my phone number and pay for damages out of pocket so the insurance would not be notified. I've never been in an accident, just saying. It's not like Britney had that choice though, so sad that the paps and police must always be called.
What I'm waiting for is an influx of people claiming anyone who gets in a fender-bender should have his/her license taken away and that Britney should go to jail "like a normal person" would.
Britney Spears is not a teenager.
20snowbunny11,
Sure she is. Yeah, maybe the number is in the late 20s, but the actions all add up to T-E-E-N-A-G-E-R. Being watched over by a parent...teen...being given an allowance by a parent...teen...parents moderating friends...teen.
PS: Police are sometimes called in to take a police report of the accident. Sure nobody was hurt, but peoples property was still involved.
21Okay, I Love this girl, but I really think it's time for her to just use a driver. She obviously doesn't have enough focus to be able to pay attention while she drives. This is my only criticism of her. I've seen her many times behind the wheel sending texts, or doing other things rather than paying attention to her driving.
Not citing her is normal, if it was a rear-ender, then the insurance companies will take care of it. And from what I hear the guy she hit was pitching a FIT after he found out who hit him. BEFORE he knew he wasn't even going to get out of his car! Of course, this is from a pap that was on scene so who knows what's true.
And yeah "Snowbunny" it's coming, I know it is. LOL
22yes tia there should ALWAYS be a police report taken, please take my advice injuries dont always occur right then and there maybe the next day, so yes there should always be a police report, but the rules dont apply to sh*tsh*t, all the citations i listed above she should have recieved, every normal person would have
23mykie i disagree if it was any other person they would have been cited
24Right, only teenagers get into fender benders and mental illnesses, how could I forget...
25If you hit someone and no one is hurt, you aren't supposed to involve the police- you are supposed to move your cars out of the way, exchange information, and move along. Thats what the police officer said to me when I bumped someone and then reported it. They basically didnt want to be bothered with it if no one was hurt. So I think the fact that this is news is so dumb.
26when is this gonna END!!!!! it's like a never ending story that just get worse and worse every time.
27Right, because in my reasons for why Britney Spears is a 26 year old TEENAGER statement I wrote "fender bender" and "mental illnesses"....
28Oh, I'm sorry, you definitely had a compelling argument, how could I forget you spelled out "T-E-E-N-A-G-E-R" for us? That just wins it right there!
29Who said it was meant to be compelling. Where's your argument to prove to me that besides her age, Britney Spears isn't a teenager?....because you can't use maturity...nor motherhood (hello, Jamie-Lynn)!!!
30love her hair
31the hair would be perfect if she could have kept her natural skin colour! where is the old Britney?UGH!
32Briandiesel, you are totally correct. This same exact situation happened to my boyfriend last week. He worked out a contract with the woman and paid her $1500 on the spot. A state trooper came by and did not cite anyone. The less cops and insurance companies are involved the better. A small repair would have been turned into a $5000 claim by any typical insurance company.
33brian that must be in dallas because in sa, i guess with all these frivolous lawsuits it is required
34Because I don't think that calling people who are struggling due to mental illness "teenagers" is a very kind thing to do. All her actions add up to someone who is ill. Your inability to empathize with people must really make it awkward for you to socialize in real life, most likely why you stick to cackling over fender-benders on internet boards.
35Am I the only one that thinks she bought those extensions at the "year 2000" garage sale? they look like "old" red pleather wearing brit, she needs to grow up.
36wow people are so misinformed, so what happens had you boyfriend not had the money ti give her on the SPOT, then she would be out a vehicle most likely lost wages, i would rather my insurance go sky high than be out a car, money, what if the repairs were more than the 1,500.00 what do you do your screwed
37Snowbunny11,
For your information I do have empathy, and I do empathize with people...Britney Spears is NOT one of those people. And your inability to NOT understand that must make it hard for you to have a social circle that would include people NOT like yourself. And for that...I pity you.
38yah pink, I dont know why they started that, but atleast you don't get a ticket or anything for just bumping someones car- which I love
39no brian you do, for the reasons listed above, why does it always end up like this people saying oh you must not have friends parents dont love you, so petty tia i still love ya
40I kind of agree - those actions don't add up to teenager, they add up to family who love her, trying to help her cope with mental illness.
41Thanks, pink. That's the way of posting....people assume that because you don't agree with them then your life must be miserable, LMAO.
42no pink, I'm saying that here you don't, cause you don't include the police in just a fender bender- so you dont get a ticket-
T- who is that in your picture? It's freaking me out a little bit!
43Hi Brian!!!
It's Gerard Butler as Dracula.
44which came first, the weave or accident, lmfao...her weave kinda sucks but is better than before...she def shouldn't put it in a ponytail where you can see the damn stitching or whatever....and what's with the velvet pants...she looks like movie theater seats
45Hi T!
ah! i see that now- haha
46I STILL hate the hair! Maybe its the color. I dunno. She has enough money to hire a better stylist. Can she not afford Ken Paves?
47yeah i figured after i reread what you were saying very true brian but had the police come to the scene than those are all the citations you would face sucks i know, i know tia same thing all the time your mother must not love you your daddy must have been absent during your raising, you were picked on as a child, you have no friends, blah blah BLAH
48Could it be that it's not due to a lack of the ability empathize that people don't empathize with Britney but because some people aren't convinced she has a mental illness?
I see that her all her actions add up to people (her camp) conveniently using mental illness to excuse her immature, irresponsible behavior and choices. Hee, flame away.
49i agree woop although i wish she would cut her crap for the sake of those adorable little boys, they have gotten so big or is it because they are not shoved in our faces all the time, when they were with her
