yeah, em, this is pretty whack. i'm not a comic book person at all, but the joker is the only cool dude in the pantheon of superhero characters. i was actually really looking forward to hearing who they'd pick for this, but crap, this sucks. in the comics, the joker is actually tall + athletic + skilled in hand-to-hand combat, totally unlike pudgy jack nicholson + balding ledger. blah. damn these movies.

maybe its just me, but these two do not look happy ever...i never liked any of them, she sucked in Dawsons Creek and him, he was much cuter in 10 things I Hate About You lol (and that wasnt even THAT cute) lol....

I have no opinion on whether or not Heath Ledger would be a good Joker. I've never been into Batman.

It's good to be back. I watched E! for the majority of the day yesterday, so I'm just catching up on the convo! Which is, somedays, better than the "news."

He's such a fabulous actor, he can pull off any role. I love him and think he's hot no matter how grubby he gets.

It still grosses me out that he was kissing another man for a film, I dont care if it was acting i couldnt bare seeing my fiancee kissing another man! Ewww it would soo put me off him!

It's a prequel. That's why they're bringing the joker back. He hasn't died yet in this movie. I'm not a big Heath fan, but okay. I'll play along and be happy for him.

Mal - I totally hear you! I just saw Garden State a few nights ago and TOTALLY loved that it was just different.

"Garden State" is a great movie and the soundtrack rocks.

i liked it too... the characters were interesting...

i get that studios don't want to risk a bunch of money on an unproven idea, but when you're basically making rocky V over and over again, it's a pretty sad state...

Garden state is totally in my top ten.

Can't wait till it comes out! Katie was boring in it and she almost turned me off the movie I too hope she's NOT back on! I can't see Heath as joker but I'll give him a chance he might blow me away who knows? I just had a thought: Johnny Depp! he would have been GREAT!!! love that guy!
